Not very happy with DENON/Heos products

If you like technology that is complicated then this receiver is for you. I do not like that once I set-up, I have to go through the process everytime I want to play music. The setup devices does not remain on the Heos app and you have to go through too many steps just to connect your speakers, play through Bluetooth etc. etc....... It is sooooo complicated and it does not have to be. Maybe in the future DENON can create products that is one or two button push to play music or use with your TV or projector. They need to start from scratch on all their products. The speakers sound good once you figure out how to connect your devices.

Posted .We're very sorry for the poor experience with the S540BT. You shouldn't have to go through any steps to output audio aside from powering on the AVR and then switching to the correct source. The S540BT is not a network based AVR so it does not have a HEOS chip built in and does not work with the HEOS App. If you're having any other issues, please contact our Support team with any questions you have.
