Very pleased with this receiver. It was delivered in two days as promised. I connected the receiver to my existing speakers & sub. The sound is amazing. Movies in 4K HD sound like a movie theater. The mic included to set up the speaker balance was very helpful. Great receiver for the money!

love the receiver, aside from one main issue. I have my PS4 hooked up to it as well as my tv. So essentially it's the main source for all of it it pushes the sound from my ps4 to the speakers and also sends the video to the tv. Every so often the screen will go black because it does some certain thing. it's like it changes modes or something. it's a big issue when I'm online gaming as well. I'm all for someone telling me how to solve this problem because that is my only issue with the machine. the pcm and dig. lights go off and that's what causes the tv to go black and then 2-8 seconds later they come back on and the image is back.

Needed a great little receiver for my new tv and found it in this one. Very happy!

I would recommend this receiver for anyone needing only the 5.2 channel setup. It works as advertised but I was amazed that when I got everything hooked up to the TV, once the TV was turned on, the receiver turned on as well. Wish it had a few more composite hook-ups because I have a few pieces of equipment that are old and don't have the hdmi connections.

Brought this receiver to replace my old JVC 5.1 receiver. I allowed it to auto set up the speakers but modified the speaker settings to 2 large front and small surround since that is what I have. I like that I can use the receiver with 5 inputs and 1 HDMI it helps cut down on the routing of cables. Overall great value for the price. I only gave 4 stars since there wasn't a printed copy of the manual, you have to down load them.

This was a great purchase. The sound that is distributed makes for the perfect movie night.

I use this receiver mainly for bluetooth music. The first one I bought was fine for the first two times I used it. The third time, it overheated on the SECOND song I played. It shut off automatically but seriously? I took it back and got a new one thinking I just got a defective product the first time around. I've been using my second one for just a few months and the exact same thing already happened. I don't use it every day or even every week for that matter. But the second one overheated just seconds in to the second song I was playing. This item is 100% useless to me and was a complete waste of money and my time. I could understand if I had been playing music for hours already but three minutes in? There's absolutely no excuse for such a poor product.

Thanks for a great receiver to replace my Insignia which quit producing sound. I was shopping used and came across this and so far the experience has been very satisfying. Lots of sound options and I haven’t even touched the Bluetooth.

A would be great unit if it could accept banana plugs. A unit of this price should really accept banana plugs because I've found cheaper units that do.

I bough this Denon receiver in June 2016. In about 1 year the plastic at the front began to peel and crack in a very strange way. I got in contact with customer support and they said I had to ship it back to them for checking, pay for all shipping expenses and be careful because if the unit broke during shipping it's would be my fault. I gave up... I have seen receivers last many years in perfect condition and was expecting more from Denon. Maybe this was a defective product, but I'm not pleased I was the unlucky customer. I'll add pictures later.

When I turn it on it doesn't go straight to the TV. And then I'm being asked using in.

Not only upgraded to add all the new HDMI connections but the best part is having the Bluetooth connectivity. Great sound, easy setup.

It worked, but i returned it because it sounded thin, ended up going for an open box pioneer elite for the same price.
