This Denon replaces a 22+ year old Sony receiver that failed. Impressed with the change in technology and how it reads the Blue Ray disc audio. Auto setup was easy. Gives a better than theater Surround Sound experience.
AM/FM preset tuning was a little confusing.

Had a standard def Denon receiver that I have used for several years but upgraded to 4k, love the quality of the receiver, the balancing device is a great inclusion, and just all around great buy. Very happy I upgraded as a gamer.

I needed at purchase a 4k receiver to match my new 4k television, but I'm hardly a videophile. This Denon seemed to fit the bill. There's only one hdmi output. And several inputs. There's very few "rca" type inputs, so the unit isn't exceptionally versatile and won't meet your needs if you have multiple inputs beyond one or two (like a game, apple tv or dvd).
But for picture quality and easy of use, it's very good. I do wish some of the controls on the unit were illuminated, particularly when switching audio modes. But for the price...the quality of this unit can't be beat!

Purchased just before Christmas to replace the one I had which had stopped working. Easy to set up with onscreen directions, completed in about 15 minutes. Sound is amazing and switching between inputs is very easy. Definitely recommend this reciever.

Very good AV Receiver for the price, Has the ARC HDMI which is in most 4K TV’s which I have been looking for.The Bluetooth capability was icing on the cake. Excellent sound coming from my existing 5.1 sound system.

This is a quality audio receiver with all the features you would expect including HD including HDMI inputs and output as well as 5.1 surround. Denon is a great name in the home audio market.

Great home receiver system. It’s got plenty of power and great sound processing etc. I love the fact that you can EQ the room. I have this connected to a Polk Audio system. I have no complaints at all.

I bought two of these to replace my Yamaha Home Theater systems. They are nowheres as feature rich as the Yamaha but they do work. Except, the upstairs Devon does not turn on or off with my Comcast Remote. The downstairs Devon works fine. Go figure

This was a replacement for an older amp that I had worn out... RIP.
Since I was on a budget, I bought this and was happily surprised by the performance. I use all the channels in a gaming set-up. It sounds great and I have had no issues. I recommend taking the time to learn the set-up. Its time well spent in terms of the sound quality that you will get. If you are looking for something simple, reliable and that performs great at a budget price point, this amp should fit the bill. 14 gauge wire is probably your best choice if you are not already wired in....

A nicely priced quality receiver. Really easy to set up.
It allows you to effortlessly fire up your speakers with your TV or with Bluetooth devices.
Does a surprisingly good job of pushing my pair of 1978 era Sansui 4-way speaker cabinets.

Worth it! My first Denon and it is sweet. I have it connected to a pair of klipsch 5 3/4 bookshelves speakers and a klipsch 12inch subwoofer and boy does this amp rock’ em. Music sounds crisp with deep bass and for movies it also sounds crisp and a deep bass that rattles the picture frames and you feel the rumble on your feet. My wife hates it so I know I made a good buy. Don’t worry about an expensive amp that’ll rock the speakers this $299 Denon will work just fine.

I bought this receiver after going over a lot of reviews on a few websites and of course looking at the reviews here on Best Buy.com. I do have to say that you cannot go wrong with this receiver it’s really easy to setup & use. It also looks and sounds really good too. Of course it also depends on the speakers that you’re using. I’m using the Bose acoustic mass home theater speakers and they sound GREAT! I actually found this receiver after googling what receiver would work with my Bose speakers. And this receiver came up and I don’t regret buying it at all.
