Easy to set up. The sound tuning automatically made the speakers sound better than the last tuner. It works great with two definitive technology AW5500, two 8 inch 250w in wall speakers, and Yamaha sub. Super loud super clean.

Easy set up by Geek Squad. Communicates with all other devices and is easy to use. I have used Denon components for 35 years and I have never been disappointed.

Extremely easy to set up. Sounded much better than I expected. It automatically adjusted the equalization and volume levels of my existing speakers and made them sound better than they ever have.

Once we figured out how to use it, from techs’ instructions it wirked great. Good sound and worked well with the surround sound speakers…3 years later it quit on us and we sre not using it. Had it hooked up to ATT receiver; it caused problems with AV power - TV kept dhutting off. Cslled Devon tech guys abd they said its out of warranty. Grrtr

Okay cheap AVR for very basic use. Like the 8K and premium speaker terminals. However, receiver is very glitchy, and there is no internet access to upgrade firmware. Basic source switching often results in a blank white screen or some other HDMI handshake issue. Volume meter often stays up onscreen and doesn't go away. Returned to BB and upgraded to the much better wifi enabled AVR-S660H. Well worth the $100 premium.

I bought this to replace my older Denon which didn't have the HDMI 2.1 capability. Both this and my older Denon are great receivers. Crisp, clear audio quality, plenty of features, easy to configure.

This unit was perfect for my needs to just have a nice surround sound with my Bose speakers. I don't do gaming or anything like that, but for a movie sound thru your home tv instantly, this is the unit to buy.

It is easy to set up and has great interactive directions.

This is one of the best entry level receivers out there. It has discrete amps for all channels, supports eArc and overall has good sound. It even comes with a microphone so you can run the setup wizard to correct any imbalances in sound caused by speaker size and location. It does not have network connectivity which means no firmware updates, so bugs won't get fixed. Manual configuration requires some expertise.
