    Best Buy shipped a used and defective product to me. I didn’t need the receiver until my new home was finished so I didn’t open the box. When opened it was out of their very short window to return.

    Audio Cuts Out

    Bought this from Best Buy to upgrade to 4k pass through and got it all hooked up after some other supplies arrived. Audio will just drop for 10 - 20 seconds several times per hour. BestBuy only had a 15 day return policy so contacted Denon support. Was told it was most likely an EDID issue and won't go forward with support until I did more testing myself to confirm that. Denon's support page pretty much absolves them of any blame on EDID issues and puts the onus on the video device to fix instead with the added bonus that this model cannot do any firmware updates. First time trying Denon so not sure if other models would have a better experience but I will be going back to Yamaha.

      Hello. We do not make any claim of the AVR-S570BT being a network AVR. It is a model for those who want surround sound, but without support for network capabilities. All of our current AVR model numbers ending in the letter 'H' are network AVRs, and they also have a HEOS engine built-in. denon

    Unsure why after only 3 hours receiver overheats. It is in a normal cabinet designed to hold it and can vent but it overheats

    We have had this item for a month and are still having problems with the receiver talking with other equipment. The TV and Blue Ray become confused and do not know which should be "ON" . This leads to us having to turn the TV on and off several times until it figures out the TV should be on

      Hello. Sorry to learn of this symptom arising for you. It sounds like it is to do with the CEC (HDMI Control) setting. Each device needs to have it's CEC feature activated. Some TV brands have a different name for CEC. A google search is recommended if you are unsure. You will need to activate this feature in your TV, your Blu-ray player and any other HDMI-connected sources. We recommend using high quality HDMI cables for reliable results, such as Audioquest's Pearl, because not all Ultra High Speed HDMI cables offer equal levels of compatibility.

    Disappointed that this model has no wifi connectivity, thus it's unable to connect to the Denom Iphone App. My 10 year old AVR 1613 had that. Not this one. Wish I knew before I got it.

      Hello, the Denon AVR-S570BT is the only receiver in our lineup that does not have Network capabilities. It does however provide a Bluetooth connection. Please look to our AVR-S660H and above for Network capabilities. denon

    Got it in jan 2023. Beginning of 2024 started to glitch with screen flicker going from input to input. Shutting it off and on only fix. A lot of the time hdmi losing signal back and forth. Got a sony receiver zero problems!

    Sounds just OK with a crappy menu. I have a high-end Denon receiver That sounds great in my Family room, but I bought this receiver for a smaller room. I wasn’t expecting it to sound so bad.

    Geek Squad Training

    This product is fine just as the two previous Yamaha amps were. However, a volume issue occurred with all three amps within a 6month time frame and the two Geek Squad techs that came reported that the amp was bad and required replacement. While using this item the volume issue appeared. I finally contacted Ian who reported that the HDMI cable needs to be replaced. I bought a new cable and everything is fine. What if either of the two techs had isolated the problem earlier? I would probably still have the first amp.
