    Tv/sound doesnt work. Usb operation makes a mess of the songs original order. There is no fast forward or back when playing music on usb flash drive. Volume buttons go too fast or too slow, depends how you press it.

    Returned, it’s good for someone that doesn’t need Dolby Atmos, etc but I wanted that after purchasing I noticed it didn’t have it. Otherwise Spend a little more and in the end your be glad you did!

    Denon won't pass HDMI video thru to Smart TV.

    Very hard to set up. Cannot get cable and Blu-ray video to pass thru receiver to Smart TV via HDMI. First connected old plasma TV but had to connect cable box and Blu-ray directly to TV, and use optical fiber to get TV sound to receiver and home theater speakers. Bought new Smart TV, but same issue with video, though now sound can get to rcvr with ARC.

      We're very sorry for the poor experience. Please contact our Support team if you have any operation issues with the AVR passing video to the Smart TV. It's possible that the TV's EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) isn't negotiating well with the sources when an AVR is in the mix. denon

    I bought this receive to run my set of four Klipsch F3 tower speakers (plus center and subwoofer), and they sucked this amp dry. Very poor low frequency (bass). The 150W x 5 is a fantasy.

      First let me apologize for your experience so far. Klipsch speakers are typically easy to drive with a high sensitivity rating. Sensitivity 97.5 dB. In most cases 25 watts will push a Klipsch speaker to near peak levels. If I could recommend trying different speaker placement? Also when listening to music, try Direct or Pure Direct sound setting. Lastly, if running surround sound with a subwoofer, be sure to set the Bass out to LFE + Main in the receiver settings. Further assistance needed please don't hesitate to reach out.     The receiver would not pair with my iPhone nor would it connect to my home wifi. Needless to say, but I returned it. So much for the Denon name.

Mesh network systems are becoming more common in solving WiFi issues. Smart homes are putting more demand on the need to expand the network.     Thought I was getting a great deal because of the name. Couldn't get it to handle all my speakers in my home theater. So I took it back for the Pioneer.

    One of the hdmi ports stopped working after 8 months. I talked to manufacture and they want me to pay for shipping if I want to get a repair. This thing shouldn’t break that quick. Super disappointed as I just replaced my Older Denon receiver which broke down on me as well

    This receiver is a piece of junk. It did not have the latest firmware when delivered and therefore could not be linked to BlueTooth speakers. It has to be cabled to a TV set to set up!! Finally, it emits asynchronous output to wired and BlueTooth speakers. Sounds like music played or sang in rounds!

    I will never buy another Denon receiver. It stopped working while still in factory warranty, To get it repaired, I need to send it through mail to authorized dealer. Need original sales receipt. What a joke.

    I bought this receiver as it appeared to have all of the features that I desired and could support the speakers and subwoofer that I also bought. This receiver sounds amazing and does not run very hot at all, which is nice as I have it in a cabinet with closed doors. The setup is very easy to perform. Just follow what your TV screen tells you to do and you're up and running. The apps are pretty decent too and work easily and intuitively. I'm very impressed with this product and would buy Denon again without thinking twice about it.
