Purchased this receiver over a month ago to replace a 10 plus year old Pioneer 5.1 surround and couldn't be happier. It powers Polk signatures S60s, S35, and 4 Orbs without any problem in a 20 x 12 room. The Audyssey set up was spot on and the surround sound is amazing. Music in stereo is excellent. Like the intuitive on screen set up.

This is the finest receiver that I have owned, and I am beyond happy with it. Mike from Geek squad did a phenomenal job with the instillation, and explaining just how it worked to us. Would definitely recommend this receiver, and Best Buy! World class experience!

I am not an expert on sounds and all the features. But am impressed with the quality of the sound and the features I have got with this. This can be integrated with Alexa and Denon mobile app. This has Master and additional one zone which help to play music in two zones parallel manner with different taste.

Has lots of features and enough HDMI inputs for me.

I am biased towards Denon and this product has not let me down. My last Denon lasted for several years so it was a no brainier to replace it with another one. This new unit was very easy to set up. Even has a walk through tutorial for the less experienced audiophile. Amazing sound and the amount of inputs is a huge plus!

Sound now like in a theater. Easy to install and use.

Great sound Nifty setup with the space microphone

Nice unit that easily powers a system of 8 ohm speakers and TV. My only complaint is that in several cases the online user manual tells you HOW to configure certain settings but not WHY you should choose one setting over another. You’re left to guess or experiment or look elsewhere on the Internet.

This receiver lives up to it's promise both w/ movie & music experience. I have 7 channels & 2 of them are in the ceiling, this receiver has options/settings specifically for various speaker placements w/in the ceiling, so it does an excellent job of isolating overhead sounds, etc. Works great w/ Alexa too.

This receiver sounds really good, but the overall fit and finish from the factory is pretty terrible. The back of the unit had scratch marks where it was assembled and on the front near the top of the LCD screen was another scratch from where the screen was installed. The sides are flimsy metal painted with terrible matte black paint that is rough to the touch. As a result, it began collecting dust from the moment it was unboxed. As many others have stated, the on-screen menus are pretty dated, but once the receiver is initially set up that shouldn't be much of an issue. Having said all this, I miss my Onkyo.

We love this as we are able to stream music all over the house and backyard. We use with the HEOS app and works great. Also provides great TV sound through our surround sound system. I couldn't figure it out but my husband was able to set up without much difficulty.

I originally stated looking into a new receiver because the power supply on my old Yamaha went bad and buzzed terribly after an hour. This Denon is silent, thank goodness, and runs cool thanks to an eco mode. It covers all the modern needs of Bluetooth, streaming, multiple HDMI inputs, and even phono input. It also has Google Assistant functionality through the Denon HEOS app. While I wish I could turn the receiver on and off with Google, I can skip tracks, change volume, and in a roundabout way turn on the box if I use Google to turn on my TV thanks to an eARC channel. The one thing I haven't yet figured out is how to maintain gain across various channel inputs. I believe there's a way to do it, but out of the box its a little upsetting that music needs to be at volume level 20 while the television should be at 50 and the PS4 should be around 30. Overall though, love this receiver. Great product, not too large, and leagues ahead of what I had from 5-6 years ago.

Got this to power the home theater sound in my man cave. Easy to set up, plenty of power for what I need. Haven’t added the height speakers or second sub yet—don’t seem to need them. Only drawback I’ve noticed is the relatively small number of HDMI ports. Otherwise, totally happy with the purchase.

Have one of my own so I bought one for my father. He had a Sony receiver and told him he could get clear sound and the speaker hookups were easier to get to. I would suggest this item if you are looking for a good clean hookup in the back.

This receiver does it all, the denon 7.2 4K Ultra, handles the my little set up perfectly. I paired it with the mag series 6 1/2 in ceiling 5.1 in ceiling speakers. I mean the sound is authentic, the base booms my theater room. I’m not complaining

Works good. Radio is a bit disappointing though. Even with what is to be the best FM antenna on the market I only get a few channels. The volume is a bit disappointing also. Have to have it up in the 40 range to be able to hear it from about 15 feet away.

Replaced a Sony receiver with this one and I couldn’t be happier. Sound quality is superior and my second subwoofer works flawlessly. Second subwoofer would not work correctly even though it was a 7.2 on my Sony. This is my first Denon product and I’m definitely sold!

Does everything I want in 4K. I needed a new receiver that supported 4K and I've been using Denon receivers for years now. This one more than fits the bill. I'm also future proofed with Atmos for when the time arrives.
