Not good for beginners. Very nice receiver

It was hard to set up and takes time to figure out how to use. In fact, I'm still learning and can't figure out how to get my regular TV to work through the unit. Still can't get help even though I tried to call Denon's troubleshooting number.

To complicated to switch between devices

Title of what you switch to is not simple matching the device you are switching to. The buttons on the front device make no sense. Most important is the PDF of 200 pages. Absolutely complicated. Should have Title by Function on easy help page online Would not purchase again

Not loud at all... disappointing

For some strange reason that volume is really, really, really low. I had to crank up all the setting in order to get a decent "loud" sound out of this receiver. This product has reset itself a few times over the months and I had to go through setting it up all over again. Sometimes the receiver will not connect to our LG tv so I can see the setup options. I have 7.1 Dolby ATMOS Surround speakers connected to this receiver and I have the volume all the way up to 50, 60, 75 and it still is not loud. Maybe I have it configured incorrectly, or the inputs are having issues. I have a DVD, TV, Internet Radio, Streaming Video, Gaming Platform all connected and none of them are extremely loud. What did I do wrong or do I have a defective product?

If you want real high end then you'll need to spend way more money
