Very easy to setup. Much better unit than we had before.

Nice receiver. Enjoyed the customizable aspects (being able to rename inputs, for example, to match your components). The app that comes with it you lets you see what kind of audio is going in and out in real time (for example, is the output from that movie you're watching on Apple TV in simple stereo? Or 5.1 surround sound?)

Easy use, good size. Just what was need at a good price.

Comes with ample HDMI inputs (5) as well as digital audio connections. A Zone2 audio output that can be play from any of the connected sources, including a source different for the Zone 1 source if desired. Setup process automatically balances audio output to your particular speaker configuration.

My husband loves this. Much better than the one we had.

Good reciever I have a Denon older model lasted 10 yrs this unit is really good but sometimes losses sound on inputs and have to switch inputs to get sound back. Dont know why never had this issue with old one. Have replaced hdmi cables and all still same issue.

Probably the best budget AVR on the market. Comes with eARC port for multiple control of your devices and perfect transfer of true HD and high bandwidth for your Dolby Atmos contents. It works well with the latest sound techs. Very powerful!

I use this to power klipsch Dolby atmos reference speakers and it works superbly. I did have to make some adjustments to suit my preferences, such as boosting the subwoofer. The overall experience has been fantastic, whether I’m watching movies, sports or listening to music.

So far the receiver is amazing. 4K pass thru HDR10+ and Dolby atmos. The only issue I didn’t realize until after the return period was over is that it does not have any pre-outs for any of the channels other than LFE. So you cannot run a an outside amplifier which is now an issue.

Excellent sound and pretty great array of capabilities. A bit confusing to operate. Love the automated calibration. I wish that a single iPhone app could control everything. It’s a little cumbersome switching back and forth between the AVR remote control and the HEOS app.

Excellent wireless receiver. We are now able to utilize our home's speaker system through our iPhones and enjoy music in our kitchen, master bedroom and back porch. We highly recommend this receiver as it is a value for the price we paid.

I searched for months to find the perfect receiver and I definitely found it with this product. It provides exactly what I need to give me that perfect theater sound. I use this receiver to push 4 Klipsch height speakers, 1 Klipsch center and 1 Klipsch 12" subwoofer.

Not as powerful as my old Onkyo receiver but so far everything is working as it should. A little quirky when switching sound modes especially going back to tv. The mouth doesn't match the voice but switching back and then back again fixes it.

Great sound with my Klipsch speakers. The setup was easy. The only issue I had was that I could not find the device within the phone apps without disconnecting the ethernet and using wireless only. This replaced my old Onkyo 313 unit, and does the job way better.

In a segment of AVRs that are increasingly feature-rich this unit is keeping up with the trend, at the expense of needing multiple apps to utilize the different functions. SiriusXM users will be happy to have built-in streaming through the HEOS service (unavailable on the comparable Sony). Apple AirPlay 2 (also not on the Sony) has much better functionality than AirPlay 1, and made it possible to share what is playing on a HomePod for multi-zone music--which wasn't terribly hard to do, but can't push media from the AVR out to the HomePod. Using the second zone output was clunky, it would be better if AirPlay would recognize that as a separate speaker... but it could be made to work by the relatively easy buttons on the front of the unit. Video quality was excellent passing full 4K resolution without glitches. If the unit had continued to work well, I would probably have kept it... Unfortunately the deal breaker was an issue that emerged a few weeks into the "break-in" period: sound quality on the center channel deteriorated with harsh crackling that was most evident with full dolby source media (streaming Amazon or Netflix, blue-ray discs, etc.). I tried all the usual tricks, firmware update, reducing the gain, raising the crossover settings and to be sure switched wire/speakers to eliminate (very unlikely) issues with my Klipsch center speaker. Not wanting to wait and see what else goes wrong (all the other speakers too?), I returned it. No stock available to exchange, so I went to a different product.

Was looking to upgrade from my Harman kardon. This has lots of inputs and Functionality. Definitely do the speaker set up wizard! Dolby ATMOS Sounds amazing. You can let the wizard do all the work or delve into the over 250 page owner's manual and set it up as you like.

Complicated product. It good be that all receivers are complicated, but this felt extremely difficult. Took multiple configuration tweaks to get speakers to play at decent volume.

All is ok just could be different connections and not dependent on having to program with a TV. Lack of instruction manual for different hook ups to the receiver
