Definitely a solid entry level receiver. I paired with KEF LS-50s and unfortunately it’s a little underpowered for them. Ended up going with a nicer Marantz instead.

Great receiver. Audyssey setup is great. Audyssey is a room correction feature that you use with the included microphone. Using it for a 5.1 setup.

I really like this receiver as I purchased this to replace a older Denon receiver. Just make sure to check for and perform any firmware updates that are available.

I had an older version of this receiver and decided to upgrade since it was pretty outdated. I got this and have not looked back, it is doing everything I need it to.

The setup interface via the HDMI ARC is kind of confusing and the technical support is not available on Saturdays or Sunday and is limited to the Hours of 0800-1700.

Pairs easily. Great sound. Phono input is EXCELLENT and convenient. Made vinyl sound remarkable better than previous tuner/amp paired with pre-amp and line level inputs.

This replaced an older model that is no longer produced which was struck by lightning. Had to purchase a converter for the Wii to use HTML connection.

Glad to have a new received. The last Denon receiver was purchased 30 years ago. Looking forward to another long lasting great sounding receiver.

I replaced an older Yamaha that had been my baby for over a decade. This had features I hadn’t even thought of. Very happy with this purchase!

When purchasing this Denon receiver, it was really important to me that I could play my Apple Music to the receiver. However, this is where problems started. It would play for a few minutes to an hour and randomly cut out. In those cases I wasn’t able to restart playback. Even unplugging and plugging back in the unit would not always restore the AirPlay capability. I tried both WiFi as well as Ethernet and the results were the same. All my other devices in the home (HomePod and multiple Apple TVs) do not have the same issues. What really frustrated me the most was that the Denon support was really crappy and told me “there is nothing wrong with the receiver” and suggested that it was my network’s fault when it clearly wasn’t. I followed all their suggestions (try both Ethernet and WiFi, restore to factory settings, etc.), but nothing would resolve the issues. Doing further research online makes it obvious that there seem to be plenty of other people experiencing similar issues. Bottom line: If it doesn’t flawlessly do what you put on the box then don't advertise it. This really ruined Denon products for me for the future. I switched to another brand and have no problems ever since, AirPlay runs non-stop for hours and hours ...

If I had to do it over, I would buy the next level up. I have that unit and love it - this one isn’t as nice and had challenges setting up my atmos speakers.

Nice looking receiver with many different listening options . With several input options it is great for us older folks and the younger tech savvy generation .

Works better than I expected. Everything is labeled for easy installation. Would definitely consider brand for future purchase.

For the money you can't beat this Denon model. Able to produce the latest in audio technology. Enough inputs for most people. So far...so good!

Only complaint I have is that the manual doesn't explain how to connect an Amazon Echo or other device to voice control the receiver,

Typical Denon quality... great. They actually added a physical button for zone 2 power and zone 2 source!

I had the geeks set this up for me with my 4k TV and everything turned out great!

No 5 star’s because Denon 4K av receivers under 100w per channel, should also have pre-outs to add a higher power amp or better amp of choice.

This replaced a Danon receiver I had for 18 years not much difference I really like the other one with buttons as well as using a receiver.
