Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am experiencing random HDMI signal loss to my Samsung 4k TV, the picture goes to black but the audio continues, sometimes for a second and other times for upwards of 5 to 7 seconds. I have tried multiple HDMI cables experiencing the same problem and I am not using CEC/ARC. I tried 2 different streaming devices, a 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro and a Roku Ultra, same problem for both which work fine connected directly to the TV or my older Onkyo AVR. I also tried using an HDMI switch connected directly to the TV with audio passing through to the Denon using ARC, with this setup, both audio and video goes out randomly for a few seconds. Another thing I noticed, the HDMI connection at the monitor out port on the Denon seems pretty loose. Unfortunately, with all of this troubleshooting, I missed my return window. This AVR works great when it is working. I am quite disappointed.

Over time, it began to corrupt itself. Inputs swapped at random, devices would turn on at random, etc. It's "too smart."
