I wish the remote that came with the receiver was universal. Besides that I love the receiver.

I really wanted to like this receiver but in truth it failed after only 2 days. The receiver crapped out and I had to return. It sounded great for the day it worked. Hard to find one in stock nowadays so I have to continue on with the Pioneer Elite receivers I currently own.

East to setup and has plenty of hdmi ports to connect devices

I bought this open box. The state of the item was not properly described on the BestBuy website, but it was still in a fully functional state once a new remote was ordered. The receiver itself is good. I would say the MSRP is a bit much for the full functionality of the system, but there is nothing wrong with the receiver. Works as expected.

Not your first, I have had a lot of receivers this one has everything you need, tone controls are difficult to use, I miss just a simple bass/treble control, with the right speakers you can blow your house down!

Had to upgrade from older Denon AVR to communicate with new "smart" TV. BT / HEOS will allow adding remote speakers in planned addition without running hard wires! Denon still at the top of the heap in AVR's in my book!

This is a great sounding machine.my first new machine in a decade,and way beyond impressed with the sound quality and ease of operation.i highly recommend this receiver to anyone who is a serious about music.

easy to setup....great features but, was disappointed it did not have dedicated channels for atmos that I had to use up the back surround channels for that roll

It’s a good system and once you get it figured out it works great but to set it up is quite a pain. No plug n play got to keep moving wires till it works with the surround sound. You can’t configure the speakers your wAy you have to do it the denon way. Which doesn’t work in my room

Bought this to replace my old Denton AVR-987. This is a good receiver for TV only in my opinion. If you are going to expect to shake the walls this will not be the ticket. I returned it due to it’s lack of 2 channel power. My old AVR-987 Absolutely out powered this unit in sound and quality of sound. Went back to the store and demoed several units and would of had to spend 3 times this amount to equal my old unit. Loved the connectivity of the new unit but not the sound quality. The Marantz receivers were the closest comparison to my old Denon AVR-987 and none of the newer Denon matched that. That was in the Magnolia studio. So for me I stuck with my older system until something comes around at a affordable price that can match its sound quality and performance.

I am a long-time Yamaha fan but my curiosity got the better of me and I bought this on the recommendation of a Geek Squad installer. I personally have decent installation skills myself and did not need Geek Squad help with the setup at first. Unfortunately, it did not go smoothly even after getting some needed help from Denon Tech Support. I was misinformed to the point of frustration by two of them and, after returning it for a higher-end model on the recommendation of a senior Denon analyst, I ended up returning it for a...you guessed right: A Yamaha Aventage RX-A780 receiver. To each his own taste, I guess. It sometimes pays to listen to one's inner self.

Great 4K 60hz receiver for the money! has dual zones. still has analog inputs, but does NOT do analog to HDMI conversion, analog inputs pass through to analog outputs.

I bought this mast fall to replace a receiver I had bought on-line 10 years ago. This receiver has exceeded all my expectations. Even fm radio reception is excellent.

My only complaint is that if I turn on CEC that it passes audio through to the display as well. However, this my just be a fault of my display for not supporting ARC.

It integrates seamlessly with my 4k Blu ray player and 4k 82" TV. Love the fact you can run two subs from the receiver, instead of jumping one to another.

After two Onkyo 9.2 Receivers and that they went into safe mode without any hope for repair changed to this Denon 7.2 and I am not disappointed.
