I have this unit hooked up to my Klipsch surround sound. It sounds great but it heats up and turns off. I may take it back and upgrade to a bigger unit

Fairly easy to setup and configure, the accompanying app doesn't work as advertised though, making one of it's features (play through Amazon Echo) non-functional. If this feature had worked, I would've given it 5 stars

This was our choice for replacing a Pioneer 9.2 & we're much happier! It's just simpler to operate & we only run 5.2. Really no complaints, very easy to set up & the price was very affordable!

I ended up having to return it do to it not having enough power to run my setup. The 8k is kind of a gimmick if you ask me but if thats your thing go for it. Just like all other denon receivers set up is as simple as it can be.My biggest problem with Denon is that this thing $650 and there's still no back light on the remote come on we use this in the dark watching movies step your game up.

Replaced older Yamaha AVR with less features. The H960 sound great even a low volume and works well with me Heos 7 speaker. Now can play same music in family room an living room, plus can use zone 2 for another area in the future.

This is our second Denon product. The user interface is easy to use. Plenty of HDMI inputs and it's very capable of driving higher end speakers. Very happy with our purchase.

I was looking for something to upgrade my current system of 5 years. After reviewing what people said I gave it a try. I was not sorry. It is all I was hoping for at a price I could afford.

Used for about a month, seems like everything is in learning the initial setup. Excellent Unit bought 2 one for the living room, one for the theater. There are a lot of settings once mastered offer a good balance of video control and audio control. Pass through for all our video signals work seamlessly. We have always used Head Units to control all of the video sources. Currently we use and Apple TV as the primary. With EARC control sometimes we use the Apple TV remote as the primary remote using harmony hubs to turn on and select inputs. (DO NOT attempt to have EARC control everything it will likely leave you endless frustration)

Love it. I replaced Harman Kardon AVR 3700 with this product and I am so much happier. Video for 4k is so much better, sound quality is awesome, and works with latest devices and home automation.

Got this to replace previous Sony had for many many years. Very easy set up

Great receiver for the game room. Works seamless with each gaming system. Hearing sounds the old receiver muddled up on movies.

For the price, this receive has produced an improved picture over my old 4k model in an oled screen, and the sound is reproduced well.

Watch out. This item is very powerful. Make sure your speakers can handle it. I suggest you get the highest quality connection cords. Once you do, enjoy!!!! Best thing on the market.

This is the receiver you want when you don’t have the BIG BUCKS for the higher level ones. Medium priced and yet you get high quality and functionality you want. I would say the best 7.2 receiver.

I’ve had this receiver for over a month and it works almost perfectly. I’ve upgraded to this receiver from another Denon receiver I had for almost 9 years. The only problem with this receiver I have is the eARC mode. When I have eARC enabled the audio will cut out and the screen will go black for a few seconds then turn back on. I called support but had no luck in solving this issue. Even bought two new HDMI cables that still didn’t fix the problem. I now have to use the receiver with eARC turned off so the audio and video doesn’t cut out. Other than that it’s a good upgrade.

Great midrange receiver, so far it has been a dream to set up and operate. I upgraded from an older Denon and have been really impressed so far.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself and I love it plenty of power for my definitive technology speaker set up has WiFi and 8 speaker ports plus all the newest sound presets like atmos.

I finally upgraded from my 24 year old Denon receiver and have loved the upgrade 100%. It was very easy to set up and has performed flawlessly.

The Denon Received works well; however, there is so much to it, I would recommend someone provides instruction on how to use it. It definitely adds value to my surround sound system.
