    I have owned Denon receivers in the past, but never had a problem with the exception of this unit. I never got Zone 2 to work. I spent 2 days with Denon Tech support (Hard techs to understand) they had me reset to factory default 2x, then they requested that I file an RMA.

      Hello, I may have a few helpful hints. First zone 2 speakers are to be connected to the surround back channels and re assigned to zone 2 in the receiver speaker settings. To confirm set up. I recommend downloading the HEOS app to test zone 2. denon

    Denon Receiver - Adjustment absolutely Difficult

    I owned a Denon Receiver for 16 years, tied into my Home entertainment / TV. Just had to place it 3 months ago with this latest Denon Version . Absolutely Hate Hate Hate it !! So difficult to adjust , and make changes with the Surround Sound , Best Buy had to come out 2 times and still couldn’t get it right . I finally just settled with can’t make Sound adjustments to my surround sound. Never again

    Cannot output 4k 120hz, no fix in sight

    BUYER BEWARE This does not output 4k120hz has advertised. If you were looking to hook up a ps5 or xbox one x to this system, DO NOT BUY Their "fix" was or an adapter that is no longer available. https://www.denon.com/en-us/hdmiadapter SPK618

    Similar to others, this unit goes into protect mode for no reason. It's well ventilated and I've changed all speaker wires in an attempt to resolve the issue, but the issue appears to be the receiver. Still within the return period, so it'll be going back.

    After the 3rd day there would be video but no audio. Called Denon CUST Support they advised returning due to a hardware issue. Returned.

    Don’t buy this receiver the hdmi2.1 is defective. It’s not working with the Xbox series x and it only has one hdmi2.1 input. Best option is to buy a cheaper receiver and just use arc and connect next gen console directly to Tv.

    Dennon has absolutely no customer supoort. All products require a smart phone to always be present for music streaming. Its a silly setup.

Launch a song in the HEOS app. Play music using the internet radio. Or high-resolution digital music files via USB storage device or a networked computer (PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution; DSD up to 5.6 MHz).
