    Product is great, service at desk is terrible, order at a store drove to another store, saw item I purchased on floor and could not get, waited 30 minutes

    The reliever stopped working. I spent turn on I bought April 6 2022 and came home from vacation July 15 and it doesn’t power on.

    too expensive. too hard to install. After installation needed installer to come back three times, and it still does not have audio on all channels of the tv.

      Hello, have you tried the all channel stereo mode in the receiver. This setting will provide audio out of all the channels.     I can not give you a review when I've only had the unit for 24 hrs. Give me a month if you get it back i didnt like if not then i like it

    poor training on your techs. going on the 3rd trip out here and still not working properly don't know if product good because it don't work !!

    Took it home set it up played a DVD and it died. This is the second Denon product i have owned first one lasted 2 years this one lasted long enough for set up.

    Junk no pre outs at all garbage my denon 5.1 avr-1312 has rear channel pre outs and its 10 years old they got cheap as hel.

    the receiver went into protect mode, and even the power button would not shut it down.

      Protect mode means the unit shut down due to external reasons like a voltage spike or dip, high internal temps or a low impedance that damages an amp channel. The unit will not respond when it's in Protect. The only thing you can try is to remove all connections, unplug the unit from power, plug it back in and see if it then powers on. If that doesn't work, then the unit will need to be evaluated under the warranty as there's internal damage. I would also advise contacting an installer to check out your application. denon

      Hello, sorry to hear of your frustrations. I want to point out that the Denon AVR-S960H is compatible with 4K 120HZ using the XBOX series X. If the serial number is before 70000, we offer a free HDMI adapter kit. https://www.denon.com/en-us/hdmiadapter Only Denon models with serial numbers below xxxxxxx70000 are impacted by the HDMI incompatibility issue and require the HDMI adapter to output 4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz video signals.
      Perhaps the settings may need to be changed. Settings>Video>4K/8K Signal format>8K enhanced. Further assistance required, please visit https://support.denon.com/ denon

    great product. the sound systems music is excellent, however when I'm watching T.V. the background music over powers the center speakers sound and i have difficulty hearing the voices.

    Ive owned Denon AVR's since the 90's (AVR-2500)and Stereo's since the late 70's(GR-555) I know and trust Denon. Although Denon is not the same company, they are still great AVR's. I actually had the where with all to purchase an R model from Denon I'm super glad I did no bugs or glitches due to it being an R model. You can rely on Denon for a great AVR. This one will be with me for year's to come.
