Denon manufactures many units costing FAR more. I use it in a 5.1 setup consisting of BIC America speakers including a 12” powered subwoofer. Setting up modern AV receivers can be a bit complex. The Audessey process is pretty good, but, for me, resulted in a bit of a flat sound. Tweaking the bass and equalizer settings was required. I spent a lot of time reading expert recommendations. So far, I have found it to be an acceptable unit for the cost, even if I’m not wildly enthusiastic about it.

Much better than 2019 Onkyo 696. Can probably do anything you want. Only downside is sometimes it randomly turns back on for a few seconds after I shut it down.

Non the less still awesome setup
