Posted .Hello. We appreciate you posting your review of the AVR-S970H. We recommend checking to make sure you have CEC (HDMI Control) engaged. This link explains how: https://manuals.denon.com/AVRS970H/NA/EN/GFNFSYkfayrqor.php If that doesn't solve the issue, to try doing a soft reset (unplugging from it's power source for at least 5 minutes) and checking to make sure you have the latest firmware for smooth operation. Easier setup and allows passthrough of all sources and HEOS is horrible can't get Sirius XM to work even with Denon tech support

Going online for the installation manual isn't the best way. Miss the paper manual. Hope this newer one last longer than my previous one which was only 5 yrs old.
