I've been looking for an AVR to replace my failed unit. I made the mistake of buying a brand that was 'new' to the building of audio-video receivers, and paid a huge price. This time I went with Denon, who has been around for a long time, and knows how to build a product that is feature-rich yet reliable. This unit complements my 5.1 speaker set, a Quad L-ite system, and my OLED TV, so count me a happy camper. Yay, Denon!!!

Excellent.Meets all expectations, easy set up, good quality.

Love it! We can now listen to music out on the deck while kids are inside watching movies or playing games.

This replaced my avr-3311 which was a great amp, this one is a quality piece, but just has way too much crap in the software which most people will never use or need for any system, after the last firmware update I literally had to start at square one again and was not pleased, the phono imput is a preamp which if you have a newer turntable is useless, my pro-ject is one of the best I’ve ever owned and when I dropped the needle for the first time I thought the stylus had been broken, then after another thirty minutes on the phone with the manufacturer I was informed that the phono needed to be switched out to an auxiliary input, once that smoke cleared everything was back to somewhat normal, but there’s more, the simple fact that you must run the audio setup to access fifty percent of the functionality of the receiver is nothing more than a joke, also note that to properly run a 7.1 surround you are guided to use both zones,? Which I still don’t get, but I’m no sound engineer, just a simple stagehand who has delt with some of the largest and loudest systems on the planet, lol but it is what it is… for the most part this is a decent receiver, just be forewarned that there are a lot of hoops to jump through to acces some items, and be ready to call the manufacturer during setup at least a few times….

Easy to set up but not powerfull enough wish had more power

So far it's been a great receiver.The guys did a great job instaliment.

The new receiver and projector combination provided us excellent TV viewing experience.The quality of picture is much clear and crisp.My family is very happy

The configuration is easy and user friendly. I use the remote and my phone as controls.

Working good ! Replaced older Denon that lasted 5 years. The older model seemed to heat up, but just in case this was an issue again I added 2 fans and a thernostat to the cabinet just to be safe.

This is the receiver you need, has every option you could want at a price that’s hard to beat. I’ve shopped around and this one has all the connections in the back, easy to understand and operate.

Sets up relatively easy. Walk through process, just make sure you go into all the settings to make the playback as good as you can. Otherwise, set it up with some towers and a separate in wall set up and it does wonders for both!

Great little amp I am loving it works like a charm. Haven’t had a problem with it yet, and it definitely sounds better than any other Amp I have had in the past. This is my third Denon, and so far it plays music perfectly and movies.

This amp receiver delivered the power needed to run my existing speaker system with very good quality sound. But it turned out I did not need it as my old unit was equal to this unit. Returned.

I upgraded from an older other brand receiver to this for the 4k pass-through and Arc system. It only been too weeks and have no complaints. Setup is as easy with auto setup and can be adjusted with manual override. Overall very happy with this purchase

A great AV receiver that I caught on sale for under $500. Checked all my boxes that I needed. 4k, hdmi 2.1, 120hrz/HDR pass through. 8k compatible.

The sound is much clearer with is receiver. Previously the music would overwhelm the people speaking so we are really pleased. The Geeks delivered it and got it all set up and showed us how to use all the features. All part of Total Tech!!!

Excellent sound and picture. Well worth the money. I especially enjoy the crispness of the voices and the clarity of the surround sound.
