Excellent amplifier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was purchased to replace a Denon AVR-X2700H, which no longer played well with our LG TV. Both were the same age, by several WEB OS updates to the LG TV rendered the handshaking between the Denon and TV sketchy at best. The new AVR-X1899H supports HDMI 2.1. I'm not absolutely sure that this was the problem, but everything works well together again. We don't play loud music, and so the slight decrease in output per channel is not noticeable.

Denon builds very good sounding electronics. It also has all the features (4k/8k imputes) that I needed including the ability to select the speaker (with no subwoofer) system I have. The online manual was very helpful/descriptive.

It was easy to set up and to operate. This is my first Denon A/V Receiver and glad I made the decision to go with Denon.

Crisp and clear sound

It works flawlessly and does everything I expected. The sound is really sharp, whether the volume is low or high. I was planning on moving it to my shop but started by testing it in the house where it is going to stay.

Instead of using hard wired speakers, I used a separate Visio Bluetooth sound bar. I had to work around sound sync isses since it’s connected via Bluetooth, but it works well. The intended setup is with hard wired speakers. I’m very satisfied and would highly recommend this unit for those in need of upgrading their system without breaking the bank.

My previous Denon receiver from 2017 was limited by HDMI 2.0. Very simple setup and it sounds great. No complaints! I’m very pleased so far.

I'm frustrated bc Denon set up didn't allow me to create a separate zone, you need the secondary app in your cell to get the best of this model. I'm still trying to split the sound 5.1 inside house and two in the yard.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Denon AVR-X1800H! This receiver supports multi-zone playback, which you can manage using the HEOS app along with Denon HOME/HEOS wireless speakers, or by connecting speakers directly to the receiver.
If you decide to hardwire your speakers, make sure to configure the second zone correctly in the receiver's settings menu by selecting "5.1 + Zone 2." Connect Zone 2 speakers to the surround back channels. Once everything is set up properly, you can control Zone 2 using the HEOS app or the included remote.If you need further assistance, please contact Denon Product Support by calling 855-720-0823.

I have a good sized living room and the AVR-X1800H supplies PLENTY of power and volume. Setting up the microphone with the included tripod to balance the speakers to the room was super easy and the room never sounded better. Highly recommend
