Customers are saying

Customers highly value the AVR-X2700H's sound quality, ease of use, and straightforward setup process. Many appreciate its powerful performance and consider the price reasonable for the features offered. While some users experienced HDMI connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on the sound and user-friendliness outweighs these concerns. The HEOS app and 8K compatibility are also frequently praised.

    Horrible Customer Service from Denon

I kept reading how great Denon products were, I must have missed the part on how bad their customer service was. I purchased my first Denon Receiver the X2700H in March of 2021. After getting it, I learned it had a defective HDMI board and would not pass 4k at 120hz between my brand new LG TV and my Xbox Series X. I read they were working on a fix and a couple of months later they announced a hack fix by adding a second box that had to be plugged in. (adding a lot more cables and power draw to the mix). When I tried to request one it told me there was a 5+ month wait. Just about that time they started selling the same model receivers with a fixed HDMI chipset. Multiple emails to Denon about getting an exchange went unanswered. They might have a good product, but their customer service is subpar. It might be time to go back to Onkyo. I'll take a slightly lesser quality product from a company that at least cares about their customer anytime

Husband loves the receiver. Would have liked to have an paper owners manual that you could read instead of just online. The quick guide just didn't help enough and husband doesn't use the computer. It was a tad bit expensive.

This is a great AV receiver! I replaced a Sony receiver from the 2000s and this new receiver has so many more options, such as Bluetooth and Wifi. I am still learning to use all of the options.

Wanted to upgrade my home theatre. Denon avr-x2700 and a Sony Xbox-65a9g. Although I had some issues getting the two synced through eARC, eventually they came together and work well. Pleased with the setup!

Hello Paul, I have attached a helpful link that will help guide you on how to use Zone 2. https://manuals.denon.com/AVRX2700H/NA/EN/GFNFSYvffiuorq.php
There are several ways to set up Zone 2, Zone 2 pre-out, or surround back speaker terminals. Adding HEOS Denon Home speakers is another option. Using the surround back speaker terminals, one must first assign the amplifier for Zone 2. If further assistance is required, please reach out to us by visiting https://support.denon.com/ denon

Not satisfied due to some of the units’ “designed limitations”. Returned unit and upgraded to the 3700. For the extra $300 it was worth it.

Very big improvement over my previous amplifier. However, I wish it had an analog output also to connect to older VHS.

Not enough power to my system and the 3D sounds is good, it’s only 95 watts if up grade more music power and you have to pay much more more money.

We're very sorry for the poor experience. Overheating and tripping the unit's protection circuit usually indicates not enough ventilation above the top vents or continuously outputting at a very low impedance. We recommend at least 6 inches of clearance above the unit and an impedance no lower than 4 ohms. denon
