I bought this to replace a 10 year old Marantz avr. While there is no denying the Marantz had a more "musical" tone, the clarity and control of the sound and surround effects are amazing on the Denon. With the comparable Marantz costing a chunk of change more I think this is the better return on the dollar as the Denon is a close second.

Bought this online and had it delivered. Use it for TV audio, and listening to Bluetooth music. 1 day after the 15 day return period, it made a loud noise and disconnected from Bluetooth. After that, Bluetooth connectivity is intermittent and has to be constantly reconnected. Beyond frustrating. This is a very expensive unit, and now I have to ship it to Denon at my expenses, and hope they can find the issue. Worst purchase ever. And so frustrated with the lack of service

Easy to set up and great sound quality! It took a while to set up the microphone and tune the receive to the media room but it was worth it.

Great unit. Purchased this one so we could have the dual outputs that Denon doesn't include on the lower end models.

Updating our old receiver with the a new Denon accomplished what we wanted for our home theater system. So far we are very pleased with the Denon.

Great reciever. Handles all my speakers with no problems, plenty of hdmi ports for my devices, can be controlled woth the remote or app. There is still more for me to experience with it but its great.

It is the brains of my overall system, and it has all the functionality you could ever want. It is Great.

Good AVR for the basic audio / video programs. Not easy to install. Better to ask professional installer.

Arrived with no remote and no one would help be get a replacement from Best Buy. The guy at the store says buy one on Amazon. Terrible! Now I spend more money and wait a week for a remote to arrive I guess.
