    This item happened to be a previous customer return that was put back on the shelf for sell and was not checked for workmanship and quality before hand. Had the receiver installed and tuned. Then had to disassemble and return for a new replacement.

    Sounds amazing. Easy set up with Audessy. Denon In command series is the only way to go.

    I bought this Receiver after talking to a Best Buy employee. I explained what all I was trying to connect and what I wanted to accomplish. Most of all I wanted a simple system that some one with my limited Tech knowledge could operate. When it was delivered and set up I was told I would have to use 3 different remotes to make everything work.The receiver its self does the job it is suppose to, just don't know if it is the one I need to make my system simple.

    Limited abilities. You are tied to the Heos app and there is NO BLUETOOTH FUNCTION!

    Does not work well and is a disappointment to say the least. It keeps cutting off of just does not power on at all

    Our receiver never worked.

    Unfortunately our unit was not working right out of the box. I have read good reviews about this receiver but I can only speak of our own experience. If anything I believe Denon would do themselves a huge favor of they improved quality control.

    I have had this receiver for a month now and with multiple geek squad visits it is still not functioning correctly with the tv. Could it be the tv maybe but so far no one has been able to figure it out

    Somewhat disappointing. My five year old Onkyo seems to have sounded better.

      I would like first to say thank you for your purchase. The Denon AVR-X2800H has many features that allow you to customize your output and enable your system for the optimal experience. I recommend performing the auto room correction (Audyssey) and setting the Dynamic volume to Light. https://manuals.denon.com/AVRX2800H/EU/EN/GFNFSYphwaueoj.php This setting will provide greater output. If your front speakers are set to Large, LFE + Mian bass will also offer more Bass output. https://manuals.denon.com/AVRX2800H/EU/EN/GFNFSYaxhqtbzr.php See the attached links for guidance.     Very Difficult and Frustrating.

    I bought this unit on Oct. 24th, 2023 at Best Buy in Brentwood, Mo. It arrived the next day via UPS with no issues. Setup and functionality are extremely frustrating and I'm on the verge of returning it. Everything is connected correctly, including speakers, wi-fi and the HDMI/optical cables to my tv (which is only 4 months old). The receiver constantly stops communicating to the tv and the output sound reverts back to the tv speakers. When I try to use the optical input, it never connects and I haven't been able to get sound with this input. Note that when the Dolby Surround does connect, it sounds very good but only lasts for about 15-20 seconds. The cables I'm using worked perfectly with other devices and are only about a year old. The user interface with this unit is poor and at the price point I expect it to be anything but that. I called Best Buy technical support and they were no help whatsoever in resolving these issues. Furthermore, they didn't even attempt to and only told me they could send a shipping return label or I could return it to a store. So much for technical support on products they claim to know about.
