I had higher hopes for Denon 3700h
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for its 8k compatibility and number of channels, however while the build is good, power is satisfactory, device noise is very low and doesn't heat up as much as some other brands there are something I did not like about it too. it is slow to load and takes much longer that my TV to be responsive and that is a big set off specially since some tv's will automatically switch to internal TV speaker if they don't detect AVR via eARC in a timely fashion. which happens to me and I have to switch AVR up and then my TV so TV can detect it just in time! (I may actually return this because of that as it becomes trickier when you connect your game console, streaming devices and ... via your AVR as you suppose too and because of this delay they become unavailable until you switch the AVR on first and then your TV) other than that, I couldn't get "3D Aura" to work even with having 9.2.4 setup! I have seen someone done it and I followed the steps identically and still 3D Aura is not being listed as an option which is another reason I may return this unit and switch to Marantz 6015.

Great for features and functionality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far fantastic. The self tuning worked great (just a little hard in my apartment, as a lot of noise from electronics) but finally got it to accept. Just though it was a little light on bass, so I modified some settings after.

Good Receiver
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an older Marantz receiver, bought this to upgrade and kind of future proof my entertainment center. Looking to get a PS5 this is 8K capable with more features than the Marantz SR5015. No complaints, looks good, pretty easy setup. One of the better entry level receivers in this price range.

Great for Movies
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed with the ease of setup and the features over my old unit. The sounds performance is also perfect. I swore a few times the surround sound was real people/animals behind me. I use it in a 9.1 Atmos setup.

Excellent Receiver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent receiver! Good HDMI options and the setup/interface is very easy to use. Has app support if you don't want to grab your remote and instead use your phone. Sounds great with some Energy speakers I had laying around. Doesn't get overly warm after some serious usage either.

Great While It lasted. RIP Expensive receiver.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasted 13 months, and now out of warranty. I had another brand that lasted me 10 years trouble free. Being Denon and Marantz are supposed to be the same company, I had expected better quality. Customer service is really a joke at Denon. They didn't even verify my warranty, I asked for a box to be sent only for them to say we are going to send you an email. Well the email also said to call in and request one. Doesn't matter, my warranty has run out and I guess this will go in the dumpster. What an expensive mistake.

Posted .Sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your receiver. New AV receivers do come with a 2-year warranty. Refurbished AV receivers come with a 1-year. The unit should still be covered under warranty if your receiver was purchased new. Please get in touch with customer service by visiting https://support.denon.com/

Great Service, Recommendation, and Receiver
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Travis (Magnolia) recommended this receiver knowing what we enjoy. We appreciate his guidance as this has been a great buy. Further, Israel did a great job getting us setup with the receiver and the universal remote update. A great tag team to help customers!

Great AVR, but had an issue with mine
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this receiver on open-box and it's a great unit, but I ended up returning it due to some issues with the open box model. I highly recommend it if you need a good AVR as long as the unit you get works like it should.

Recommeneded Receiver. Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product overall and easy to setup. The loved the "use as preamp" feature. I just wished Denon would have made a pre-amp alone as I need more power for my speakers. However, the unit was solid and every feature worked as published.

Solid performer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with purchase. As usual Denon!! make very easy to setup and got me going within an hr (includes 5.1.2 audyssey calibration). Build looks great and solid performance with plenty of power to run my home theater speakers

Good for now
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great receiver for my needs and for my future needs having pre amp channels since I don't feel like its enough to power through my martin logans. Since I have to turn the volume way high to hear it better. I just hate the user interface that looks like its from the early 2000s and the remote thats bulky and is not back lit

Overall, great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great, but with my PlayStation 5 and 4K EPSON LS11000 projector, the console and projector must both be turned on BEFORE the receiver is turned on, or the video signal won't always display automatically. Minor, but worth noting!

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the fact this receiver can work with up to 13 speakers. It has the latest HDMI inputs and can feed two subwoofers with individual Audyssey settings. It has plenty of power and sounds great.

Posted .Hello, sorry to learn of your experience. To help with video lag, I suggest adjusting some video settings with the receiver's menu. Settings>Video>Output settings>i/p scaler on. Also, Settings>4K/8K format>8K enhanced. I attached a link to help walk you through the setting changes. https://manuals.denon.com/AVRX3700H/NA/EN/GFNFSYmlxuhedk.php.
