Posted .Hello, sorry to learn of your experience. To help with video lag, I suggest adjusting some video settings with the receiver's menu. Settings>Video>Output settings>i/p scaler on. Make sure you connect the right speakers for your Atmos sound. If you have low watt speakers you will not get good sound from the designated atmos speakers.

Not sure yet if it's a "Handshake" issue with my HDMI cable yet or the Firestick itself. Sound is great, can't complain...yet lol.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.be prepared to have to shutoff off your system twice. for some reason after powering down, the system will restart after about 30 sec. also the volume will increase/ decrease slowly then will jump 30-40%. oh and sometimes it changes sources for no reason also it always seams that we are adjusting out put levels and EQ''s due to randomly reverting to factory default We returned the first one and the new one does the same thing.

Posted .Hi James, My suggestion is to try this procedure:
On screen menu for the AVR-X3700H (Set up) > Network > Network Control > Right Arrow > Off In Standby.
Also, deactivating CEC (HDMI control - some brands use a different name for it) in all your components can help too. The symptom you describe is typical of outside influences eg. from HDMI connected devices, or the internet.
