Denon customer service is terrible. I would look into the Fluance turntables. They have a couple with a built-in preamp and are less expensive. Or, for just a bit more, you can really upgrade the cartridge, etc. Sure, it's not automatic, but it does stop on its own when the album is finished, so if you forget or fall asleep, you don't have to worry. Plus, Fluance customer service is outstanding.
