    Open box item , I ordered it from the website was in a beat up box , was in bubble wrap and had a bag with accessories. Not in original packaging or box . I returned it to the store.

    Returned do to lower price from the manufacturer. BestBuy wouldn’t match price so I returned it and bought the same item $200 cheaper.

    Had to return it because of HDMI flaking out and picture disappearing constantly. Would highly recommend the Marantz NR1711 that produces excellent stereo and Atmos sound vs getting the Denon DRA-800H.

      Often we have found this symptom to be an EDID issue, which can be resolved when a more advanced HDMI cable is being used. We recommend an HDMI version 2.0, or more recent for the best communications between your sources/screen and your receiver.     I haven’t even received it and i’ve taken two Fridays off to be at home for installation and today the 23rd nobody showed up after confirming my appt the day prior. I’m not happy with how Best Buy has consulted me through this process. May be done with Best Buy in the future.

    I don’t understand how to use it! It says on for zone 2 and off for zone one - ????? Really? They put everything under CD - I cant use the radio outside only in the house - you want more?

    WiFi connection is inconsistent and some characters on digital display are jumbled. Connecting multiple devices (iPhones) also problematic.

    Total junk, avoid.

    My denon unit lasted exactly 15 minutes from the time I plugged it in and started listen To music. The unit got so hot on the right hand side up top you could not even touch it. What’s funny is people on crutchfields website had similar experiences with this unit. The sound was ok, not much better than my Yamaha rn303. Definitely would not buy a demon receiver these days, they are not the quality denon was in the 90’s and early 2000’s
