Not as good as the first, but still fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We got this movie to watch on our new 3D TV. It was a lot of fun and the visuals are enjoyable. The first movie was surprising in how it really showed Gru falling in love with the kids, but now that it has happened they go for a weird, telegraphed plot about some famous villain that we never heard of.

Better than the first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despicable Me 2 follows up the first movie with more family fun and character development. While the plot feels a bit thin from the get go, the characters we know and love bring us back into their world. As the story progresses, we see that Gru has become even more attached to the kids and goes out of his way to make them happy while coping with standard fatherly issues that arise with girls. Overall, am amazing sequel with great family ideals delicately placed along the way.
