We had a house full of nieces/nephews coming, and bought this 3-D DVD. Smart purchase, as the children loved it,..and as a matter of act, so did us adults. Seeing it in 3-D might have some parents pressured to upgrade their sets. Movie is humorous, well written and clever!

My 10 year old thinks I got this movie for her ! We have both watched it three times together and I have watched it twice more! Funny, heart warming and prefect for those who have blu-ray. Anyone looking to buy a child or 'hard to get for' parent then your problem is solved!

This continues the story of Gru and the three girls after the events of Despicable Me and adds an additional element with Kristen Wiig's Lucy Wilde. Her optimism contrasts perfectly from Gru and ensures that the sequel isn't just a rehash of the first movie.

Just as the first "Despicable Me" showed Gru change from evil to (kind of) good AND become a dad in the process, this sequel has him growing even further into both aspects of his new life. Not only does Gru join the good guys (and girl) to foil a criminal mastermind, but he has to deal with his oldest daughter's first romance... to the son of one of his old rivals. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, with laughs and intrigue all along the way! Well done... ;-)

This is a whole movie for the whole family! We absolutely love it. Saw it twice at the theatre and have all seen it twice at home. They have three shorts in the extras that are centered around the minions and are absolutely adorable. This is a must own for all families.

As a parent, i love that movies like this come out so we to are entertained when we take our kids to the movies to watch. This movie is hilarious and I couldn't wait to buy for the kids on blu ray when it was released. This is a must have in any bodies movie collection.

If you like Despicable Me, then you will love the sequel. Like the original, this movie is great for the entire family. It entertains the kids while keeping the parents interested as well. In addition, there are 3 minion mini movies. And, who doesn't love the minions?

Sometime follow up movies loose something the next time thru, but just like the Toy Story movies the Despicable me movies and characters have the charisma to move on to new projects and keep it fresh and funny and still use some of the original gags too great effect.

If you want a family movie that encourages patience in the family and in life, this is it. It talks about parenting and being persistence in getting what you want, is the way to succeed and be happy. Not to mention hilarious comedy and laughs for the whole family.

I bought this movies after pruchasing my samsung 4k HDR. Big difference over 1080p, anyhow great movie for my kid i enjoyed it myself.

I just love these movie. The minions are such fun to watch and listen to. Even as a woman who's kids are grown and gone, I still watch these without the presence of the little ones around. I can not wait until my grandson is old enough to enjoy them with me!

This is a good clean family type movie, that everyone of all ages would enjoy immensely. As a sequel, it was as funny as the first one and me and my family all enjoyed watching over and over. I guess bad guys can become good after all, and have fun doing it.

My family saw this movie in the theater so when I saw the DVD it was the first time I had seen the movie. I enjoyed the movie but not as much as the first one. The colors and extras are great. Steve Carrol as Gru is fantastic and I am not a Steve Carrol fan.

If you have kids, you know they gravitate towards one or two movies. This is one my kids love, and it's a good enough movie that I don't mind watching with them. The bonus mini movies are fun and whimsical, and you can't beat the price...

Gru and his minions are back in a humorous adventure that, while not quite living up to its predecessor, is still a good time. The premise is good but the writers limit the adventure to a mall when it could have been much more interesting. The humor from the first is back and delivers often enough to make this worth your time. The love story is also a nice addition. The blu-ray itself looks phenomenal so videophiles will be pleased.

Not as good as I thought I could be but way better than a sequel usually is. We laughed a lot when we saw it on the theater; it has soul, is funny and has good production values. Some scenes can be a little bit risqué for the smaller ones but nothing to worry about. The Twinkles with arms and legs, aka the Minions, stole the show again. No wonder they are releasing a prequel featuring them as the main protagonists next year.

Great customer service. I was able to trade in my recent non 3d version of despicable me 2 that I had purchased two weeks earlier at the same price. Was helped out by the staff to get the 3d version that had gone on sale at the same price. Was so happy.

Good follow up to the first one. Still they added some potty and bare bottom humor, I feel is inappropriate. Besides that great show and entertaining, fun, good music, great character development. Love the ending! Bonus: BEST MINION MOVIES EVER!!!!!

Definitely recommend if you enjoyed the first one. The first one was cute and funny, but the second one definitely has it's own unique way of being cute and funny. The second one is more around Gru and his need for a girl partner, rather than villains committing crimes or stealing stuff. Definitely has a good story and a good theme for those who have young children who are looking forward to seeing Agnes and her "it's so fluffy" character.

Since my son saw this movie with me from our cable box, he wanted to watch again but did not appreciate the commercials. With the great value of this blu-ray/dvd combo, it was a relief for him to watch over and over with no commercials.
