Despicable Me 2 (blu-ray) capitalizes on the already well renowned original, recasting the original super-villian, Gru, the girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, and the beautifully-yellow minions. Without ruining the plot, this is more focused on the family aspects of Gru's relationships, and makes for a great lesson in an odd sense of morality. And most of all, it's fun! Great humour, writing, and voice acting! Love it!

This movie is a great follow-up to the original Despicable Me, the characters are still funny and the story, although a little predictable, is fun and there are moments that every family member should find hilarious. Steve Carell makes the movie in my opinion, if there were any other person doing the voice of Gru, it wouldn't be as funny. His timing and accent are truly great! Buy this movie!

As the title says, this is a very cute movie for kids, and one I think they will love. That said, it doesn't have the same charm and appeal that better animated movies do when it comes to simultaneously entertaining adults and children.

Just as fun as the 1st one. The 4k upgrade looks great.

As the summary line states, this is a fun movie, but it's not as good as the original. The story is a little flat, in my opinion, and the laughs aren't as frequent, but still worth picking up if you/the kids enjoyed the original like I did.

I've only met one person who doesn't like this film series and it isn't because of the films themselves, but the amount of over exposure from social media users. These films are hysterical. From the one year olds to the middle aged aunts to the great-grandparents, our family thinks they are fun and teach some sweet lessons about family.

My Kiddo like the minions a lot so owning a copy of despicable me was always on the cards. I was planning to get my son to watch the Minions movie and right at that time I saw the offer for Minion movie cash from Best Buy. So the DVD was priced at 4.99 and I got movie cash worh 7.50 so a win win situation for me :) . I got the DVD and also movie case to get my tickets.

Despicable Me 2 brings back Gru, his daughters, and the whole gang. In a story about irony, and along with it many laughs, you'll find that Gru, former bad guy is enlisted with a super secret organization to find the new super bad guy who just so happens to have a store in the mall. haha During this adventure, you find out the minions become bad..., Gru becomes good, not to mention Gru showing some real "Dad" moments during Agnes' birthday, and Margo's first crush. The movie ends is just a wonderful, happy way where there is a bit of happiness for everyone. This movie is funny at every turn. Just imagine Gru with a toupee! lol

I love the Despicable group and the movie is very entertaining. I can always watch them at any time. The kids enjoy watching this movie for the fun and funny things that happen in the movie. It is one of the good ones that will always be watched over and over. Keep up with the despicables and rally around them.

We bought our van and finally got our first vehicle with a built in DVD player. So we literally couldn't wait to try it out. We went in to best buy and bout this movie. It's been great and from what I hear in the front seat... The movie is cute. Our girls are finally quiet in the back and I don't have to hear so much whining.... So much better!

While the first movie set the bar, Despicable Me 2 continues the laughs and brings us back to why we love the characters in the first movie. With more screen time, the Minions shine in this movie and steal the show in the process. Laugh out loud funny, having this and the first one is a worthy addition to any movie collection.

I just love these movies, I am waiting for the new one to be released, I have the original as well, I highly recommend this if you have a funny bone and sense of humor, the 3D is great, the story is funny and tender. This movie is for everyone from 1 to a 100, you will be hard pressed not to laugh.
