If you have seen the first Despicable Me, and liked it, you will like this iteration. It is more of the same quirky, silly, failings of a surprisingly bumbling mastermind and his funky minions. There is the same amount of violence and fighting, possibly more, with almost no repercussions. The girls play a slightly larger role this film, which as the father of a little girl, makes the movie much better. The minions have a larger role as well. All in all, a decent family friendly movie.

My daughter loves the minions, so this movie was must have! Since we've already seen the movie prior to purchasing, the 3D is a nice option to change it up. We have a blu-ray player that does 2D to 3D conversion, but it's not anywhere near the same as having a true 3D version of the movie.

Just not a good movie. Lacked the charm of the original. The Blu-Ray is very nice, however, it looks great and the extras are nice. Just not a very good film overall.

I was really anticipating the sequel to the first movie. This movies plot was not as great as the first. The way that the children are still able to persuade him to get their way is still almost life like. One of the good things is that there is more "minions" through out the movie. The way that they are portrayed in the movie is hilarious. You can still barely understand what they are trying to communicate, but you can still see the humor in it. All in all, I would recommend this movie.

This movie is awesome it keeps my little ones busy watching it over and over. On the downside I couldn't find anything wrong with the movie other than having to watch the kids play it over and over and over again. Because the kids love it so much I have to give it a 5 star review

This is really funny. I'm really happy on the direction they went with this one. It was more on the relationship Gru has with his adopted children and bringing us more minions. Don't forget to see the minions movie next year. I won't forget to see that with my little one :)

i love animated movies in 3d. The minions are funny and can't get enough of them. I can't wait for the next film. I rec to anyone who hasn't seen the film to go out and get it. Both of them if you haven't seen the first. They are worth buying you will watch it more then once.

If you haven't seen the first movie, do so first or this might not make a whole lot of sense. But if you've seen the first one,get this movie!! It is hilarious and the minions have a bigger role in this one!! It is utterly charming.My nephew and aunt and mom all love it.

I'm not one for lengthy reviews. But this series is Fantastic! The first one made me laugh to the core...this one doesnt fall short in the least. Humor, great animation, action and entertaining. Not to be missed, wether you have children or ARE the Kid at heart! Get it, ENJOY!

Although it is seen as a children's movie, there is enough adult level humor to not be boring. There is stuff going on all through the movie that keeps the viewer's attention, too. The animation is great, not overly cartoonish, with a lot of attention to details. Loved it!

My husband & I love good animated films. (BTW we have no children in our household...) Steve Carell is brilliant! Oh, let's NOT forget the minions!! On a more serious note, there's a real family unit here, which makes Gru (& even Dr. Nefario) change their despicable ways!

I liked the plot DISPICABLE ME 2 , especially the love interest of the main character. The minions ,as before , are the funniest parts of the DVD.

Though my seven-year-old daughter loved this as much as the original, I felt that there was something missing. Maybe it was the length of the film and some rehashing of jokes used in hype original. Something just felt "off" with this movie. All in all, it was a cute concept, but it seemed as though they extended some of there jokes too much. All in all, it was a good watch and kids will love it, but I don't think that most parents will enjoy it as much as the original.

I thought I would be sick of Minions after watching these films so much, but you can watch them over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, until you have to buy them so you can watch them over, and over, and over, and over.

Certainly you expected something fun and quirky with the sequel to Despicable Me, and that's exactly what you get! Fun for the whole family with new characters including evil minions! The extras alone with the mini-movies are worth the price. A must have for everyone!

Gets the main character married! Makes all the hostess tweekies guys bad guys. Makes the main character a good guy. Makes the oldest girl boy crazy. What 10 year old girl could not like this very important movie. At last I am a 63 year old man. Still enjoyed any way.

Our whole family like this movies, it is a great follow up to the original. I checked a couple of Blu Ray review sites to decide if gettin the 3D version was worth it, and I am glad I got it. The 3D effects are beautiful and add to the story. Well worth it!

This is such an amazing movie. I saw the first one in the theatre and this one as well. I have to say, the 3D was even better on this movie watching it at home than in the theatre. Great story line, hilarous and touching moments. I could watch this movie over and over.

Who does not love the Minions??? This is a great movie that can be watched over and over and is great for movie night at my house. The minions are so cute and funny and we love Gru too. Like the Lorax it had movie cash which made it a free and then some!!!

Everyone could use minions to help entertain their kids as well as themselves. What a great family movie, my 15 year old son, 6 year old daughter and my wife and I can sit and watch this movie over and over. Hopefully there will be a third one or a Minions movie.
