Absolute neccessity, but steep asking price

They could have easily fit 2 expansions on this release for this asking price, especially considering the length of the content. Skill, if you're a fan, it's a worthy addition to the vanilla package.

Good expansion, mediocre new character

Crusader starts out really awesome but eventually DPS becomes an issue and he's basically an unkillable tank that takes forever to take down enemies (at least with my current build). Has buffs much more useful for multiplayer games but I don't play those as much. Other new features breathe some new life into D3 (Adventure mode is great!). Overall a good, if not great, expansion to a good, if not great core game.
