I'm not going to review the movie. It's 33 years old and if you haven't seen it by now or know what it's about I doubt my review is going to change anything. This review is for the 4k Transfer. Now, in all honesty, I am, comparing this to my old Laserdisc. The quality is superb. Older, film based movies are the best when it comes to 4k transfers. Unlike newer digital based movies which I can not tell a significant difference between the different formats. Colors are rich, noise is almost non-existent. The audio is highly detailed and the surround channels help bring you into the movie. If you are upgrading from DVD or VHS, or in my case, Laserdisc, I highly recommend this edition.

If you love Xmas then you will love Die Hard. Yippee-ki-yay and a Happy New Year!

The oldies that were shot in 4K are a blessing now and this is an all time favorite.

This movie looks so much better in 4K. Definitely better than downloaded version.

You can certainly think this is a Christmas movie...it does take place at Christmas...but no matter where you fall on that one, Alan Rickman is a boss. Not the best movie, but it's worth a watch.
