Die Hard is one of my favorite movies of all time and a classic action movie. Fox's 4K restoration is excellent (particularly any instance of fire) but the audio track could've stood to feature a restoration as well. Regardless, this is a good release, particularly if you can find it on sale.

I have Always loved this movie. Released in the 80's, It is a classic in the action-thriller genre. A blue print for so many other action movies that followed. The 4k transfer is commendable. A little dark but the uptick in sharpness is worth it.

I got a middle of the die hard movies it just keeps getting better from season to season from year to year I definitely recommend you pick them all up if you can each one of them is individual story but you get to see the actor grow as a cop in each movie so I have the heart to heart to and die hard with a vengeance all three great movies recommend these to pick up also

excellent print of John McTiernan's film with this 4K rendering. interesting sidebars accompany movie [it's a Christmas film, 'k?] and given that was about the last [!] casting choice as John McLain, Bruce Willis chews through the whole movie and asks for more at the end. really nice visuals of the building and LA at night with the 4K print, Willis looks so young... Alan Rickman's bad guy is not 'stock', either--he works that with panache and aplomb at the same time!

DIE HARD is quite possibly the best American action film ever made (I consider RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and adventure film, so that's how I get around it). The 4K presentation is the best it's looked on home video and the film itself is a masterpiece.

It's Die Hard, I don't have much to say about this movie other than it's a classic and the special Christmas cover fits the cult following of this movie. If you are reading the reviews, you either lived under a rock all your life or you are just looking for funny reviews.

Welcome to the party pal! This is the best movie ever and in 4K so clean looking, they smoke a lot in this movie and if you look the smoke looks unreal compared to blurry in blu ray or DVD it just made the picture quality superior,

I have always loved this movie, and hadn't owned it on Blu Ray, so when this version came out, I knew it was time. Great quality sound and picture, and of course I appreciate the packaging, even though it's just a slipcover for the regular version. The price reeled me in and I couldn't be happier!

Excellent version of a classic! You can really tell that this is the premier print of the film. The movie ages well, even with the tropes of '80s action flicks. Lots of LOL moments and entertainment to be had.

The blu-ray edition is solid. Good detail and color. Sound could be better. Dialogue soft but gunfire is loud. This edition is essentially a paper sleeve put over the regular blu-ray edition, and ideally put on super sale around Christmas time.

What can I say... It's Die Hard, the *BEST* Christmas movie ever made. Making it even better is that it's Die Hard on Blu-Ray. But the real icing on the cake is the Christmas sweater sleeve -- providing irrefutable proof to the naysayers that this is indeed a Christmas movie, once and for all!

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 30 years since this movie was released. Watched it on VHS numerous times as a kid. Wore the tape out. Now I have it on the best media from which you can experience it!

My husband watched this movie in the theatre, and has been talking about how it is the best Christmas movie ever. This year, I bought it for him as a Christmas present and he was so happy. We watched it Christmas day and will now become a tradition.

so what's not to like about Die Hard??? The story is first rate, the acting superb and the action sequences are so fun to watch. If you want a movie with villains you root for and against and a hero that deserves your applause then this is the movie for you. And don't get me started on the gorgeous clothes worn by the bad guys /great job wardrobe.

Classic movie gets a solid 4K transfer. Fox did a great job with this film, there's a decent level of film grain which reflects the time in which it was made. It's a good upgrade from the blu-ray and the best the film has ever looked.

This is a great movie. What makes it even better is that it's technically a Christmas movie, which people love to argue about. I've seen plenty of action movies, including The Raid 2, but this one is just a ton of fun. Not only is it super quotable, but something about the shattering glass and loud factor adds to the adrenaline rush. This is the sort of movie that ushered in all the generic action movies we know today, which can be a good or bad thing, but it's hard to beat this original piece of work. Glad Best Buy sells it as a combo pack with the DVD and not just the Blu-Ray, that's nice.

Wow. This move was shot in the 80s, yet with this 4k version, it’s hard to tell. This one is a classic, and the 4k upgrade is definitely worth it. It’s gets played every Christmas, because, of course, it’s a Christmas movie!

If you haven’t seen die hard, you need to drop everything you are doing and watch it now. Hands down the best action movie ever made and the highlight of Bruce Willis’ career. And despite what he may say, yes, this is a Christmas movie.

How can you not want to get this movie in 4K!!!!???? This movie is an action classic and it gets a great 4K transfer. Extras are great! It's a Christmas Classic that's good all year long!!!
