Don't do it. Just buy the Canon official. these make my camera untether when I am connected to a computer and that sucks. But if you are just shooting to a card, if will work.

I am very disappointed with this battery, the only reason I gave it a star is because I had to. Purchased the first of February and not even 2 months later it does not work. I charged it before a photo session and at the beginning of my session it quit, very embarrassing to say the least. I always carry a backup battery but didn’t have one that day because it was only a 30 minute session. I tried to return it to the store and they would not exchange or return because it had been over 15 days. Why would Best Buy sell a cheap made battery at their store and online? I needed a battery and was going to purchased the Canon battery but it was out of stock so I went with this one thinking maybe it would be good quality. DO NOT PURCHASE this battery, I would not recommend. Best Buy check into the products you sell. Products should last more than 2 months especially if they’re not used on a daily basis, I guess that’s why there is a 15 day policy, just in case you purchase a crappy item. Not a good look.

I am a bit disappointed in this battery. It doesn't last near as long as the Canon brand. It was recommended by a Best Buy worker and was less expensive than the Canon and supposed to be just as good but I find myself constantly charging it.

I bought a couple of these when I left home and forgot to bring extra batteries. They did the job but do not have the number of shutter clicks as the Canon batteries do. In a pinch, buy them. If you have time, order the Canon Battery.

The charge on this battery is not nearly as long as the original Canon battery. I bought it as a back up so I could rotate batteries when shooting extended events. I would pay the extra $ and get a Canon one instead next time.

A friend got this for me and it was the wrong one sadly Best Buy wouldn't allow me to return it (which I think is messed up) so pointless for me to have yet can do nothing with it. so not sure how it works.

So this battery works with my Canon 60D, and I have not had any issues. I have not timed it, or compared it to the original batteries, but it works for me.

Great for backup but dies much quicker than the canon brand.

So I got this free with my canon 6d and it didn't not work! I did email the company and they got back to me fast some hopefully I can get a new one! So hopefully this one works and that was just a faulty one!

I was able to find it online at Walmart for half the price and they wouldn't honor the price match so I went online and bought two genuine canon LPE-6 for the one price at bestbuy

Do not hold charge very long at all, got 4 charges from mine

I’ve bought these batteries once before and they stopped holding a charge within 3 months (if that). I had an emergency and needed two extra batteries and had no other options but Best Buy on such short notice. Immediately after opening, I charged the batteries to a full charge, put one in my camera and it showed less than a full charge. I wish Best Buy would carry better quality camera batteries rather than these $40 ones that I only get 5-10 uses out of.

This battery was not comparable with my battery grip. I was very disappointed. I had an assignment. I'll stick to name brand when it comes to batteries

This battery was included in a package deal with a Canon 5D, the Canon charger does not recognize the battery. I looked at reviews and see that others have had the same issue. I would have returned for a store credit and purchased a Canon battery, but since it was in a bundle deal I would not get any credit for the Digi power battery. I contacted Best Buy customer support and they would have sent another of the same battery that I did not want, and I explained that I wanted to return the battery for store credit and purchase an actual Canon battery. The best they could do in the end is give me a gift card for half the price of the Digi power battery. I guess better than nothing. This battery has the potential to void the Canon warranty of the camera if it causes damage to it.

It doesn’t keep up with charges draining so fast after few pictures.

Worked great at first but seems to slowly be loosing charge use.

Picked this up for a shoot with my BMPCC 4K. It ended up failing and was stuck in the camera. Had to use a paperclip to dislodge and my eject mechanism hasn't been the same since.

Wouldnt fit my canon slr. Bring your cam and try it on first. Was already in arizona when i open and tried it. Easy returns.

I tried this out for my Canon DSLR because of the price, you pay for what you get...lesson learned! The battery seemed to be ok for the first 3 photo shoots but then noticed the life dramatically dropped. Even after a full charge and taking only 36 RAW format photos the percentage dropped to a pathetic 9%. I'll spend the extra money and deal with genuine OEM batteries and skip the third party makers.

HONESTLY THEY DONT LAST LIKE THE ORIGINAL, BUT THEY'RE GOOD FOR JUST-IN-CASE KINDA SITUATION. FOR BACK-UPS ONLY. REMINDER: DO NOT MIX IT WITH THE ORIGINAL IF YOU HAVE THE BATTERY PACK UNIT. IT WILL CAUSE A BIG PROBLEM, NEVER NEVER NEVER.
