    Bought this as a back up battery for taking lots of pictures on trips. Doesn't hold the charge as well as the Canon battery that came with the camera. Cost is about $40.

    This is a non-canon battery but It works fine in the camera. You may get a message that it is not an OEM battery, but you can still use it. no problems.
