Its always nice to have an extra battery for the camera on hand. this way you always have a back up I case you run out of charge, so you won't miss taking pictures.

Nothing wrong with the battery, but on the website it came up as frequently bought together with the Elph 190 camera. The 13L is the wrong size for this camera. It takes the 11L. Had to exchange it.

I bought it to be a backup battery. I wouldn't recommend it as a primary because the camera sees it as an aftermarket batter and therefore won't show a battery level meter.

Very pricey for what it is. Was in a bind so had to get, but can find 1/2 price online. Battery life on par with original battery.

I wanted an extra battery pack for my travels and this does the job. Not as long lasting as the originally included pack but long enough.

This battery will power the Powershot G7X Mark II but you will get a battery communication error when inserted into the camera. You can get OE around the same price.

I took this with me out of state and it was very helpful considering all the footage I was taking

Worthless, battery holded 1 charged only in cold weather ( 10c or around 55f )

It would not let me give zero (0) stars. I want to say it "sucks" but that may be inappropriate. This battery fits the Canon PowerShot SX720 HS 20.3-Megapixel Digital Camera but is very INCONVENIENT to use. Every time you put this battery in the camera it makes you jump through hoops to use it. You have to respond to prompts: Did you insert a Canon battery? No - It is not guaranteed to work correctly, do you want to continue? Yes. It's a real pain when you change the battery in the middle of an event you are trying to photograph. I usually just want to get back to taking photos. And it does NOT display the battery charge level so there is NO WARNING when the battery gets low. It just stops and tells you to insert a new battery. I can't explain the annoyance factor without swearing.

Functional extra battery. Does not communicate with G5X for status and voltage reporting, and camera will complain about it upon insertion.

Has been doing the job! So I’m pretty happy with it.
