2 Bad Batteries!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased one of these batteries and when I returned home I immediately put it on the charger. The charge light came on and about a minute or so later all lights were off. This is not normal, typically the charger shows yellow for charging, green for charged, or no lights for no battery in the charger. I tried to put the battery in the camera but it would not fit because it was swollen. I exchanged it. When I got home with the new battery I tried to put it in the camera. The fit was a little more snug then normal but it went in no problem. The camera would not turn on. I realized maybe I would need to charge it first since it was brand new. That's when I realized I couldn't get the battery out of the camera. The slightly snug fit was too much for the spring to push the battery out. I tried to knock the battery out by hitting my brand new camera against the palm of my hand but this didn't help and potentially could have damaged my camera. I finally had to use a knife to get along side of the battery and work it out. I am about to return this one for a refund and go to Office Max and pick up a battery actually made by Canon. They are more expensive, but I have already spent more than the cost difference on fuel and time for me to go to best buy so many times.
