Battery is slightly too big
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The battery works, but is is slightly too big for both the d5100 and the d5300. Nikon batteries pop out on their own (I own three), but this battery gets stuck in the camera. It is only a few millimeters too wide (by a side-to-side eyeball view), but that is enough to potentially damage your camera. It goes in snug then gets stuck in both of my cameras. I was finally able to remove the battery using duct tap on my fingers. If the price seems too good to be true, it usually is! Stick with Nikon batteries. You'll pay more up front, but you won't damage your camera.

It's garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought this battery along with Insignia power bank for mobile from BB near Times Square, I was there for a day, to avoid frequent charging my original NIkon Battery I brought this, I opened the wrapper and throwed it as it was showing full charged. after 4-5 photographed my camera suddenly shut down. after recharging the battery, it took 5-6 photos and again shut down the camera without showing any low batt. couldnt return because the packing was thrown away and was in constantly travelling those days and I had to depend upon my original Battery. Horrible experience. not worth of a single star..

Not equivalent to Nikon EN-EL14A

Is not compatible with Nikon Cameras

When the original battery ran out and I replaced it with this battery, the camera screen went black and stated " Not Compatible". BestBuy refused to take the battery back and refused to take responsibility for the problem.
