I like to have a back up battery when traveling and this is a perfect size.

I purchased this litium-ion battery for my Cannon and so far has worked good.

Quite satisfied with cheaper, non-brand name product.

What can you say about a new battery, I have only taken a few pics with it. I am sure it will continue to work perfectly. It is a rechargeable battery which is a good thing to have on vacation. Best Buy employee helped me find the correct battery on my visit .

I bought this for extra because I had to take 100 1-min videos. With 2 batteries, I took about 70 videos. Is that good enough? If I took just photos, it would have been more than enough.

plugged it into the charger, which is a no brainer. set up so you know which way to put it into the charger. charged it and put it into computer. It will only go into camera one way, so you cannot make a mistake.

on a recent trip to Mexico, the batteries on 2 of my friends' cameras ran out of power. Luckily I had a back up in my case and was able to continue taking pics of the ruins at Tulum and Coba'

The camera was bought to replace another one just like it that we had used for several years that get a lot of use. That is why we chose to purchase the same style and quality.

I received this in a bundle with a new camera. I love having the extra battery that I can keep charged up in my bag because they always seem to die at the worst times...

This battery is small in size and it takes longer to charge than I had expected. The battery life is shorter than I would like, but it is a very small battery and the Canon original battery seems to be about the same.

I always get the additional battery that way whenever traveling I have a backup if needed. I do think tho that they charge too much for the replacement batteries.

Nothing worse than having your battery die while shooting pictures. That is why I always have a spare ready to go.

I have had this camera for about 2 years and use it alot. This is the first time I have had to replace the battery.

I really like that the battery only took about 2 hours to charge upon initial charge and thereafter as well.

Every photographer should carry a second battery. This one is good but does not last as long as original Canon battery that comes with the camera.
