I bought a floor model camera, and they couldn't find the original battery or charger, so the saleman sold me this battery. It hardly takes any photos before the battery dies. I like to carry the camera with me at all times, but most of the time the battery has died just by simply not even being used. short standby life.

This battery does what I purchased it to do and is easy to use.

This battery is a nice add on for the Canon - PowerShot SX260.

It's a battery. It works. It's fine. I do wish it lasted longer and cost less but that's the nature of the beast.

The battery was included as part of Best Buy's package for the Canon SX260 camera (package deal was camera, battery, case, memory card). That model was not listed on the battery package, but it did state it was a replacement for the Canon NB-6L lithium-ion rechargeable battery. I chose the packaged deal as the price was comparable to what I would pay for the 2 items I planned to buy - camera plus extra battery, I successfully charged the the canon NB-6L and got the camera up and running. Then I tried to charge the DigiPower. No luck - charger light went immediately from orange to out, not to green. I brought the battery back, and Best Buy tried to charge another DigiPower battery - same bad result. My extra battery is now a Canon, and it charged just fine. Best Buy was very helpful.

would like to be able to charge in vehicle.. life of battery to short ..

Got as a back-up battery - standard Canon battery is 1000 mAh, this one is 750 mAh. After a couple of uses won't hold a charge. Would not recommend. Can buy an OEM for the same price elsewhere.

When I first charged it, it took less 10 minutes to complete. This made me feel that it could not be a reliable battery to use for my camera. So I never used it at all !

This is a new battery. Charged it fully and took it to a soccer game. The battery did not even make it one hour and 60 shoots later DEAD!!! If you look on the label its only a 650 ma and cannon is 1060ma.

I've had many rechargeable's over the years and this one is the worse. I purchased it as an back-up for my Canon Powershot SX260 HS and the factory battery still lasts and this one craps out after very few uses. I would never recommend this knock off to anyone.

The battery should've lasted at least 4 hrs. I was at an Air Show & the last event was the best of the show & the battery went dead way too soon. Thanks alot.

This battery was a dud. I returned it and spent another $20 to get the $60 Canon battery.

would not function with camera or charger i had to get oem battery that was not included in the value pack
