Needed a spare battery for conference coverage, however the local Best Buy didn't have the higher capacity one. Only good for about 1.5-2 hrs constant on time, about 100-150 shots. Take at least 30-45 min to charge fully. Would recommend getting 2 for backup.

I got this extra battery that come bundle with my camera. It is great battery.

I love to travel and have learned to always keep a fully charged back up battery for my camera on my travels. This works just the same as the manufuacturer's camera battery. I never miss a great shot anymore!

Great to have for a back up battery. Easy to store in camera case. Although, it did seem to run out of battery lifer quicker then it should. Overall I would purchase it again to keep as a back up battery.

It's a battery. It works well to have two batteries with me when I am taking lots of pictures. This battery seems to perform well, just like the factory batter that came with my camera.

Got this in a pinch! Best Buy was the only ones that had it in stock for a great price. Just wouldnt recommend it for your primary battery. Worth spending the extra money for a canon battery!

Nice to have back up when on vacations or family get togethers

Came in the upgrade bundle that I purchased with my camera.

This is used just as a back-up battery when the main one dies out. I do however make sure that this one is charged at all times. It holds a pretty good charge when not in use.

We used two of these batteries and never ran out of battery life on our trip. We charged the batteries each night and managed to take nearly 3000 pictures in a 2 week time span.

Great backup battery to Canon's. Before any occasion, I charge the camera battery and the backup - never had a "power shortage." The battery also holds a charge well when the camera isn't used for extended periods of time.

Bought to use as a back up battery for my new camera

This battery was purchased as a backup for the OEM battery that came with the camera I purchased. I have always been satisfied with the level of performance for this brand of battery, and the price is reasonable.

This is a good substitute for my camera battery that doesn't cost the price of the original Canon battery. Battery life is comparable from what I can tell so far.
