I bought this product for my trip to Peru and sadly the battery that came with it did not work with my GoPro hero 5 as insisted on the package. When I put the battery in, fully charged, it wouldn’t turn on. All the red light indicators on my go pro turned on but not the screen to record. It does, however, charge the original GoPro battery but I had to return it due to battery that was included did not work.

Got this for the price and you pay for what you get. Works good but the battery itself doesn't last as long as a GoPro brand

I use this daily it came with a generic battery. And sometimes I have to fiddle with it for it to charge. But it works

The battery it self is not stay firm into the base so constantly stop charging

This looked like a good deal until I quickly learned that the battery dies A LOT faster than the Gopro brand battery. The dual charger is convenient but the battery is not usable unless you physically remove it from the Gopro after each video clip you shoot.

A must if you have a gopro hero 5. Buy this instead of the more expensive one.

The battery discharge rate on this product was not very good. I returned it and purchased the GoPro brand batteries. It was worth the extra cash to do so.

I bought this for the GoPro Hero 5 Black. The battery only works in the camera for about 10 minutes before it faults. I cannot believe that Best Buy actually sells this. Prior to purchasing this, I read that the GoPro Hero 5 Black was very finicky about the batteries that you use, but figured that Best Buy probably wouldn't sell it if it didn't work properly. I was WRONG. Do yourself a favor and just buy the GoPro batteries.
