Good battery but I wish it would hold more pictures

Today is the last day I have to return this...and I've already thrown away the packaging. I went to put this in my camera last night, and it would barely fit due to the batter being swollen...which causes it not to slide out of the battery slot without prying on it. This is very concerning as I've only used this battery under "heavy" use (4k video with a Canon EOS M50) 2x as a backup battery for when my Canon battery died, and have only used the Canon-supplied charger (no aftermarket). Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to return this to the store in time (if they would even accept it without the packaging), and it was a waste of $26.

Doesn’t come with a charger… save your time and buy another product. I would return this if I could. It’s a good battery, but without a way to charge it, it’s useless.

I knew the product came with a lower amp-hour rating, meaning it wouldn’t last as long. I was fine with that because the price was so much lower. However, I expected it work more than twice. Third time after a full charge it no longer produced enough power to last beyond the startup sequence on my Canon M-100. Put it back on the charger and got a green light and it didn’t work in the camera. Charged the canon battery back up and put it in the camera and it works fine. It has dozens of charges on it. Off-brand batteries fail far too often for me. Frankly, if retailers (including the smiling online retailer) can’t figure this out, I’m going to start buying directly from the mfg and buy the OEM accessories too.

I bought a battery for my camera on the 14th of October, my camera has just arrived and I’ve charged the battery but it’s not charging it keeps telling me change battery pack when I put it inside my camera, I spent 43$ on a battery that’s doesn’t even work! That’s not good business

This battery works but other batteries that work well can be found online at 1/2 the price. I would look online first and not buy this battery!

Bought three of these batteries. After very little use, and fourteen months of COVID 19 lockdown, used on recent trip. All thee have swollen to the point of almost impossible to remove from Canon camera. Have to replace all three as they are unusable. Garbage! Waste of money!

I bought this for a backup for my Canon M50. It ran out of juice, and when I attempted to remove it, it had swollen and it took some effort to remove it from the camera.

Purchased this extra battery for my Canon EOS m50 camera. Batteries did not work and blew up in my camera bag!!! These batteries I don’t recommend!!!

Worked for about 4 minutes in Canon M50. Now does absolutely nothing. Charger goes straight to "full", but it doesn't power anything.

These were sold at a discount price which was awesome for my wallet.

This product did NOT! Fit the original canon charger my M50 came with so I returned it!

I used it once and it no longer works. Purchased a new charger to make sure.

Battery life really sucks. It’s not worth it. Honestly

Took this on vacation as a spare battery. Would not hold a charge. Worthless so I returned it.

I bought 3 of these batteries for my Canon M100, but all 3 batteries were too thick it won’t fit(tight squeeze)into the camera battery slot. I’ll be returning them back to the store.

The battery seems to work fine but my concern is the safety. After purchasing it, I learned that 3rd party ion batteries can malfunction badly as they age, causing sudden and intense fires. I'll probably be getting rid of mine and chalk the cost up to the price of learning to better research first.

Wanting a second battery for my camera, I purchased the Digipower brand LP-E12. The first one was too thick to fit inside of the camera. I returned it to the store. The ones they had in the store all seemed too thick. So, I went to another Best Buy store and found one that seemed to fit. Several weeks later the battery had become thicker and would fit into the camera but would not easily be ejected. After I finally got it out, I set it aside and purchased 2 Wasabi brand replacement batteries (with a charger) for essentially the same price. Now, 18 months later the Digipower is even thicker - I think it is swelling. What a total waste of money. Stay away from Digipower.
