I have a Hero 5 camera and I know that it uses a lot of battery power so I purchased several of this brands extra batteries. The battery is identical to the hero brand and worked perfectly with no drawbacks noted at all.

bought it as a spare backup, but really no noticeable difference to the brand name versions. Happy to save a few dollars because it's a backup and not mission critical.

For a third party battery, it works as advertised. It's cheaper and gets the job done. I just wish Gopro's can last a lot longer than it does, but they have to make money of all these accessories!
