Nikon D7200 replacement battery

Best Buy is convenient to our location and we have always had good service from them.

Camera lock ups, short life, skip this one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a D7200/D500 user, and while it will power the D7200, the battery life is around 250 shots before complete exhaustion, where with the OEM I get 2000+ (this is no flash continuous shooting). It just locks up the D500 whenever you hit the shutter on Ch with this as the only battery - it's a cheap knock-off battery that won't power newer cameras. Too bad Best Buy doesn't sell the genuine Nikon part anymore.

After 6 months I fully charged a battery then put it on the shelf overnight. By morning it lost 6% of its charge. Nikon EN-EL15 are 7.0V at 1900mAh 14Wh. The re-fuel battery is 7.2v 1550mAh 11.2Wh. Even new, they don't perform as well as the Nikon batteries. Recommend staying with Nikon. They are worth the extra $20.

Dead on arrival and not chargeable

I've learned from past experience to stick with Nikon-branded accessories.This battery is no exception. It arrived DOA, and it will not charge in the Nikon charger. Perhaps a dud, but then quality control is an issue.

Battery failed to take a charge after 4 months

As of March 23, 2019, it will no longer charge. And this is with mild usage the whole time. Can't return to the store, and have to pay shipping back to Re-Fuel to get any type of replacement. Don't bother. Just buy Nikon's batteryl
