Build quality is amazing, battery lasts a long time and light is very bright. The different modes are interesting, but could prove useful.

Really underrated has everything you need in a portable light. It's lightweight and RGB and afforable compared to some of these other lights that are crazy expensive.

After using twice this light started with a loud high pitch noise and would not adjust colors without wining.also the time counter for how long the light will stay on is inaccurate. While filming for a broadcast, the light turned of after being on for less than 45 min. While the counter said, it should have stayed on for, well over an hour.

It was very bright. I loved it BUT THEN just after ONE use, mostly using red stopped changing colors and only the bright white worked. Very Disappointed!

This light works perfect with my Sony 4K video camera. Added with the ring lights and this makes any lighting the perfect area to film!

I own a lot of lighting equipment that I use for video and photography. Including small ones for some types of projects. However, this Digipower RGB on Camera Portable Video Light is the first that is not only compact - which is great since I just put it in my bag bag without taking too much space - but also full of lighting effects. That was what caught my attention the instant I started using it. I do have other small ones like it, but none has any effect that is worth mentioning. This one goes from flash mode to lightning to TV screen and 19 more effects. Color temperature is important in a lot of videos and photos but most of the smaller video lights out there can only change brightness. Digipower can do both. The only thing to notice is that it doesn’t dim as much as one would expect. Although you can set it to up to one hundred percent, even one percent is still too bright for some scenarios. Still, the color temperature remains relatively accurate. It’s very interesting that it not only works with my phone, which I sometimes use for some quick videos and pictures, but it can also charge it. That alone is a great reason to take it with you wherever you go. Although I needed a bigger light in some case, I tried it in every opportunity I had with my DSLR, my Sony camcorder, and my iPhone. It did not disappoint. In fact, there was a couple of cases that I would have used a bigger light but it turned out that it wouldn’t have been necessary. Very good little equipment. Except for the dimming feature that is not as great as I would have expected, it excels in every other feature. I do recommend it for amateurs and even for some pros that need something that can be carried easily.

The colors are awesome and the device is very portable, however the device does get pretty warm to the touch and the battery last only a couple of hours.
