The movie is pretty good. The only issue was the delay in getting here, but that was the fault of the postal service, not Best Buy.

The humor's atypical to what you'd usually associate with either Martin or Caine but they have chemistry. Leans more toward the silly.

Michael Caine and Steve Martin who are both adept at playing smarter than those around them make a great pair of con-men rivals.

After being sent the wrong movie, I was sent the right movie pretty promptly.

I recall seeing this opening night after taking 3 final exams in college and the laughs it provided really help deflate a stressful day! My family has thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I encourage any one in need of a laugh to seek it out!

This is just a classic movie comedy with Michael Caine and Steve Martin as the 2 con leads are quite good together with Caine playing the straight laced master mind and Martin playing the unstable understudy take on the Riviera with some Con game antics. Just seeing Martin ham it up as a special needs brother to the Prince (Caine) of some unknown country will leave you in stitches. The only way I can describe them without giving up too much info would be comparing them to Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis. The story never bogs down and moves on with a purpose with a few plot twists thrown in here & there makes this a worthy addition to any blu-ray collection. Video looks good but go's soft from time to time. Color is really good but not enough for demo material its just a better than average picture. Sound is strong and clear and the musical score never drowns out the dialog. I never found myself adjusting the volume due to sudden surge it is just a well balanced soundtrack. I highly recommend this film to those who enjoy light comedy with a dash of drama then give this movie a go!

In a classic show about how to swindle rich folks out of their money, these two opposites clash in styles. One has the clumsy Steve Martin con verses the smooth Michael Caine con. Mr. Caine does a better job. Perhaps the character Mr. Martin played is unlikable, though Mr. Martin did an excellent job in acting the part. The "mark" is interesting and cunning. No spoilers here.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a remake of the 1964 film farce Bedtime Story. Steve Martin and Michael Caine take over the roles originally played by Marlon Brando and David Niven: two international con artists, plying their trade on gullible wealthy women up and down the Riviera. Martin and Caine vie over the honor of fleecing ingenuous heiress Glenne Headly (in a role originated by Shirley Jones).

If you like Steve Martin (and even if you dont) this is a must have! Excellent comedy that is a must have in anyone's dvd library. Con artists who get the tables turned on them....You can't beat it.

This is one of my favorite comedies. The comic magic of Steve Martin and Michael Caine is Fantastic! It is a shame they have never done another movie together. This classic is now on blu-ray and it looks great!
