Terrible installation experience left me with broken valves and no water to kitchen sink had to call a plumber still waiting for reimbursement

The installers broke the drain piping but didn't say anything. They wanted signatures on the clipboard and proceeded to run out to their truck and drive off at high speeds. We ended up hiring a plumber to fix our problem because Best Buy wanted to send the same clowns back to fix it.

Installers included a trainee but that was not a problem. The unit is, noticeably, not centered in the opening so I will probably have to readjust it.

Worst install ever. They didn’t fully tighten the cold water line connector and by morning my basement was flooded. Ceiling tiles ruined carpet soaked. Installers were very careless and in some kind of super hurry. Not at all satisfied with them.

They did not change the old drain hose, it is not draining properly.

Upon install, damage was found on my unit. Said damage was notated on the delivery paperwork. I was told it would be aprox. 1 week for the part to arrive, and a few more days to have a tech come out. Install was Sep 21st. Today is Nov. 24th. To date, Best Buy has NEVER called me with status. I have contacted them on multiple occasions. Each time I get apologies, promises of quick resolution, and ultimately zero action.

We were not happy with this service. Your third party installation is kid of a joke

Was told that we needed to upgrade electrical and an additional $200 charge. Refused the install and got it installed locally.

Dishwasher installation cost $149 which is reasonable but the installer did not install it correctly. I was not given good info on who to call if any issues and was routed around to many deptals before getting to the right dept to then find out it would be 5 days before they could send someone to seevice it and no guarantee that it won't be the same person who innstalled it incorrectly to begin with. Will see in a few days if someone can fix the problem.

We have had a very bad experience with BB. the first dishwasher could not be installed because of missing parts and the leveler feet were stripped out. The second dishwasher had even more issues and was impossible to install. Our third dishwasher was supposed to be installed last Tuesday but he never showed up. It is rescheduled for this coming Monday. Horrible experience! After more than a month we still just have a hole where the appliance should be.

Had about a months worth of delays and several sets of issues including a no call no show, lack of communication about vital pieces needed to install the dishwasher, and not sending the refunding I was promised until I called and asked them for it. I will not be ordering another appliance from Best Buy again.

install seemed good .installer left before dish washer ran full cycle.dish washer quit running before finishing full cycle.I had to have another installer come out and he found they had crimped the discharge hose when sliding dish washer back in.

Make sure you have a plug under your sink or you get charged an additional $160. They will not hardwire your machine.

Dishwasher installed and leaked causing damage to ceiling in lower level. Owner of install company came out to see damaged and fixed problem of leak, but has not contacted me since to repair ceiling damage. Please note that Beat Buy contracted this out to another company. So difficult to get resolution.

They installed the dishwasher, but when they left, I couldn’t pull out the silverware tray. Had to have a repairman out to fix the problem. He fixed it in five minutes. I consider the original install totally unacceptable.

After the installation, the dishwasher did not work properly. I called Best Buy. They gave me a case number and stated that the installer would contact me the next day. They never contacted me, that was over a week ago. My husband had to reinstall the dishwasher. Poor service; poor response!!!!

The dishwasher was delivered with damage. It had to be returned. I was given a new installation date over 5 weeks later. So, I bought the dishwasher on July 20, and it will not be installed until over 2 months later. That's if the dishwasher is in good condition, and nothing else goes wrong.

Best Buy did not install this new dishwasher even though my purchase record says so. The reason it was not installed is because the the plumbing had to be changed in order to connect the dishwasher. I can’t tell, by looking at my purchase history, if I was charged for this “installation”. If I was, then please adjust my balance. Thank you

Dishwasher was installed and failed to power on! Unit was left at my home and the re-install was scheduled for 3/28. Drivers attempted to leave a new unit without installation. I asked them to take the new unit back. I'm not in need if 2 units one doesn't work and the other not installed! Make it make sense...

We had 6 visits from servicemen to install this dishwasher. After the 4th one, I requested my money back so I could pay a plumber to just install it properly. I was denied the refund. I ended up paying a plumber anyway to get everything installed correctly. There was nothing complicated about the installation, and the serviceman were not prepared to handle anything other than perfect setup. I'll never get a install from best buy again.
