    I will preface this by saying that the team that came out and did the actual installation was fantastic, no complaints there. My issue is with Best Buy's scheduling of the install and handling of an issue. The install was scheduled for Friday, 1/15. After taking the day off work, clearing a path for the installers and preparing the kitchen for installation, Best Buy customer service called me at 8am on the day of installation to cancel. I was told though that they could do it Saturday, 1/16 instead. I was annoyed, but since it was next day, I could live with it. The next day, at 8:20am, a truck arrived in my driveway with the new dishwasher, however, this turned out to be a DELIVERY ONLY. So not only do I get canceled on the original date, lied to about it being done the next day instead, now I have to store a dishwasher at my house with no known date of installation. Didn't figure out a new install date until the following Monday. When the new install day finally arrived, Best Buy's "haul away service" called me first thing in the morning asking if they could come pick up the old one yet, AND, if we could possibly haul it out to the driveway for them. (Are you kidding me!?!?) The dishwasher was installed later that day and the plumber who installed it did haul the old one away. Again, the actual plumber who installed it was fantastic! Best Buy charged me $159.99 for installation (plus an additional $30 for needed parts) and $25 for haul-away. Best Buy should be ashamed and embarrassed for the "service" they provided. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing.

    Got free installation with my dishwasher. The man that came was nice enough, but, of course, nothing we already had was right and he had to change it. Our free installation cost us $500 in addition to the price of the dishwasher. OUCH! Wanted to have Best Buy installers do the installation. Would I do it again?????

    It was so easy to use the Best Buy app to buy the dishwasher and schedule the install. The guys that did the install were very good and cleaned up after they were done.

    I’ve bought a lot of appliances in my lifetime (from other places, not Best Buy), and I’ve only had average experiences with installers. Usually they come drop it off, hand you paperwork and leave. This was an amazing experience, compared to that. It was obvious Paul knew what he was doing, and he even took the time to go over our dishwasher afterwards. My husband and I were extremely impressed! Honestly, I may never purchase an appliance from anyone else now!

    i have bought three appliances and I have paid for professional install. They use a 3rd party contractor to install the equipment, they installed 2, and they could not install the dishwasher. They did not give a reason and they did not even leave the kit that I bought. The service man that came to our house said that they will contact us. 3 days passed and no one contacted us. I called best buy and after I was forwarded to the right person, the agent was apologetic and said that she will send them again to connect the dishwasher, the earliest appointment was in 3 days. I told the agent, that my wife is overseas and her phone won't be reachable so use my number since I am still in town. I get a phone call on the intended day of the second appointment and they told me that they have been trying to contact us but no answer and apparently they were using my wife's number. The guy who called me was his name was Tyron and told me that the team has changed their route as "my wife didn't answer". I explained to him that I have told the previous agent to use my number. I told him that I will be available at the house and gave him clear instructions and said, please contact me again when they are on the way. I did not receive a call back. 3 hours later, I call geek squad support and a junior call center answered and she told me that they didn't go to my apartment because they did not have the equipment needed. I told her that this is unprofessional and I asked for the refund for the services that I paid for which were not done in addition to the Kit that I bought and was not left at my place (170$ + 25$ for the kit). She could not refund me. I asked her that I want to speak to a manager and she declined. So I ended up going to a best buy branch where I was welcomed by the manager at the front door and I explained to him the issue, he forwarded me to one of the employees. The employee spent almost half an hour at least bouncing between agents to find the right agent to solve my issue and finally got hold of someone who was a "manager" and asked her if she could explain to me what's going on. The manager told me over the phone that we were missing a part that we were supposed to have for the installation. I told her "how am I supposed to know which part, and how come bestbuy provides an installation service without being prepared for it." I reiterated the fact that this is the second appointment and at this time, they did not even show up and I received no phone call about their decision not to show up. She claimed that i wasn't at the house while I clearly told Tyron that when they are on the way, I will make my way back to the apartment. I then said that this is not acceptable and very unprofessional and all of a sudden I discover that the manager hang up the phone. I was very frustrated and i told them, I am requesting a refund for the service that I paid for and the kit that I haven't received and the local agent at best buy said that they cannot refund me since it was part of an order with multiple items. I told him that this is ridiculous and unfair and sort of a scam. He called in someone else to help and after half an hour, they only refunded the service 170$ and said that they cannot refund the kit nor they can give me another kit and they are not responsible for the 3rd party service that geek squad hires to do the installation. This installation was supposed to be for a rental property that I own and I already had 2 bookings that I had to cancel because of this issue. I have spent more than an hour at best buy waiting till they finally refunded me the service. You would imagine how much time I spent in phone calls before I even went to best buy. I have tried to reach out to supervisors to file a complaint but I failed and I am dissatisfied with the customer service. I would have been better off if they told me from the beginning that they cannot provide such service than waste all my time running around and waiting to discover that they cannot install the dishwasher. I am writing this review as the order online asked for a review and claim that there is a chance I would win 400$ for my review.

    Our install team was fantastic. Quick, professional and on time. They made sure they cleaned up any mess as well as ensured the dishwasher worked as it was designed to. I would use them again!!!!

    My dishwasher got it installed by Best Buy rep and it went really well except they damaged my wall near steps which I haven't noticed until they are gone.Installation rep was very experienced and handle the installation very well.They need some one experienced to accompany him in carrying washer into the home
