The two gentlemen who installed our new dishwasher were the best ever, their professionalism and friendliness were a 20 on a scale of 10. There made sure we understood everything there was to know about the dishwasher and what to expect on how clean the dishes would come out. Our kitchen was cleaner after they left then when they arrived

They delivered our dishwasher, but they told us we needed an extension hose because of location. We understood the problem. They told us the would be back the following Monday (1 week). However, they never showed back up. Come to find out, it was all miscommunication problems…mostly on their end. It took almost a month for them to get back to install our dishwasher. We loved the guys who did the work, but Best Buy needs to work on communication with their installation teams.

The guys that came to do the installation were great! They were very nice and took time to explain everything about the new dishwasher to us. There was a problem with a valve leaking under our sink (unrelated to install) and they made sure to point it out to us and tell us how they thought it could be fixed! I would definitely used their installation service again.

The installer was prompt, courteous and professional. He went beyond the basic requirements of the job and was extremely helpful. When he could not complete the installation because a plumber had to change a connection, he worked in a special trip back the next day to finish the job so I would have my dishwasher right away. I was very impressed with his work ethic.

After installation, the dishwasher ran but didn’t drain. The plug was left in the disposal where the dishwasher was attached.

Reviews for a dishwasher installation will inherently be mixed based on the installer in your area. We happened to get a great installer. No fuss, no problems whatsoever. Cleanly done and good tips to get the most out of dishwasher as well as how to extend the lifespan. If you're uncertain, ask Best Buy for some details about who will be installing your dishwasher.

Having a time block for installation of 12:00-3:00 didn’t work out well as my dishwasher was not installed until approx 5:30! Even after being told by the installer on the phone that they’d be there about 3:30. Also, some of the insulation for the door of the product fell out from the bottom. I told the installer I could see it hanging out at the corner, he proceeded to push it back up. It fell out again after they left.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher and a Dishwasher Install Kit on January 30, 2024, for approximately $500.00. That same day I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator and Refrigerator Install Kit from Chris Larrison, a Best Buy Associate. Initially, the delivery was set for Thursday, February 8th, but due to the 7am to 7pm “window” for delivery, the delivery date was changed to Saturday, February 10th, when my work schedule would not be an issue. The driver delivered the refrigerator and the dishwasher with their respective installation kits but informed me that he was only delivering the appliances because I had not requested that the items be installed. The driver said he had a truck full of appliances to be delivered but not to be installed! He apologized for Best Buy’s handling of appliance sales and installations. I immediately called the Best Buy Geek Squad. The Geek Squad associate informed me that I had to request that an appliance be installed at the time of purchase. I told the associate that that was absurd. I had an installation kit for each appliance, so why would I not want Best Buy to provide installation? The Geek Squad associate said that as a Best Buy “member” I was entitled to free appliance installation. The Geek Squad associate. Fortunately, a building contractor was at my house when the appliances were delivered and was able to connect to the refrigerator so that my food would not spoil. I paid for the refrigerator installation then although I was entitled to free installation because I am a Best Buy “Member” I told the Geek Squad associate that I would have Best Buy install the dishwasher since it was owing to me as a Best Buy Member. The next available installation date was March 8th. On March 8th, a Friday, I waited all day for the installer, but no one showed up. The installer was to have come between noon and 3:00pm. It never happened. A new installation date was made for March 16th, a Saturday. The installer was supposed to have come between noon and 3:00pm, but the installer did not come until 5:00pm. He took an hour to do a lousy job and tricked me into signing a satisfaction statement. On April 6th, the same installer showed up at 3:00pm although I was informed that the window was between 7am and 10:00 am. I asked that the installer who did the lousy job not come to which they agreed, but that did not happen. He acknowledged that he had done a terrible job. What an employee! Not only did he perform the installation poorly, but he was also sloppy leaving a mess under the sink and was indifferent to my house knocking the doorframe with his gurney as he dragged the dishwasher into the house from the garage.

We were quite impressed with the setup and connection of our new dishwasher. The crew was skilled, knowledgeable and helpful as they walked us through the startup guide and waited through the first quick wash, We were most pleasantly surprised with their thoroughness and patience.
